Funny you asked I was really worried about this too. I ordered it and got it today via USPS. I'll take length wise measurements right now for ya.
Ok it's a hair short of being 6" long with the atty and cartridge on it. width wise I got 3/4" of an inch. It's quite uncomfortable out in public, I went to publix my brother in laws out to eat and the movies tonight with it, and it's not that bad if you have jeans on it. But it is a big device. That's the sacrifice you make when going for a 3.7v/6v device. I went from a Joye 510 to a V3, huge difference and honestly idk if I am liking it. This is all IMO by the way. It has some serious heft to it. If I decide I can't stay with it I will return it for the Icon, or keep this one for at home and use the icon for out in public. I'll post a link in a min that helped me a lot

Scroll down to the bottom, Gregh was kind enough to post pictures for me next to obvious items so I could get an idea. You can see how long it is, and how it is next to the Icon.

The new pv that notcigs.com is coming out with.

neither of the PS mods are "variable voltage" in the electronic sense; entirely different approach. the specs i see for those new mods make them out to be slimmer, but not shorter, and if you've held either the icon or the V3 in your hand you wouldn't say diameter was of any concern. it's the heft of the stainless steel that makes the V3 in particular a sizable mod, but it's also these materials and the fact that they are all mechanical devices which make them longer term investments, that, if taken outside and accidentally dropped, are unlikely to break the unit or impede its functional ability. the V3 takes two 16340 sized batteries or a 17670, both cells with adequate drain rate capacities in their class. the 10440 and 14430 mods, in addition to being grossly inflated in their stated runtimes are only further strained by the amp draw that any of our atomizers put on them. not to knock your choice in future pv at all, it certainly sounds fun, but it really wouldn't be fair to compare them based upon size. the strengths of each are going to be the weakness of the other. those proposed mods should be compared to the little sister and big brother, if any. if you just want measurements however, the V3 with adapter attached is 4.125" tall and .5" across; it does 3.7V, 6V, and 7.4V with the capability of using the best batteries in its class without sacrificing any space in the process.

Ya they are both great pv's i'm trying to change buzz kill's mind to make it take CR2's it would be about 3 1/2 inches. if it took CR2's and I wouold definately buy one. I'm not sure yet what batteries he's going to use but if it takes to long of batteries i wont buy one.
