I started to hate the taste of analogs and the smell. so no more smell is great. I was at the coast this week and my friend said i was like a crack addict with my vape "you did not smoke that much before." My sister said "who cares how often, it doesn't stink"
I don't have to go outside, i can moderate my intake at work without hassle... i wonder why i waited so long, but in truth i was not ready to quit and i had not really looked into vaping. i figured it would not be worth the $200 i thought it would cost to start. its not cheaper for me yet because i am getting my setup and figuring my flavor/nic level/DIY out, but it is better all around.

definitely worth the switch

as an athsmatic I can tell you that normally I would use my inhaler 4-5 times per day. In the almost 8 days since I've quit analogs I've only had to use it 4 times in total!!! (and yes I'm a complete IDIOT for smoking with Athsma..but then we all are kinda stupid for ever having started smoking in the first place LOL)

I can taste food again
I don't smell like an ash tray
I can breathe
I have more energy
I'm losing weight since I have more energy, vape through sweet cravings with something like snickerdoodle cookie, and since I am drinking more water my caffiene intake has also reduced drastically, down to 1 can of Mt. Dew only if I am beginning to get a migraine.
I am however still an insomniac..... and people thought I was nuts when I told them the caffiene had nothing to do with it!

I'm just curious.....what benefits are you seeing from making the switch to vaping?

Smoked for 17 years and quit within a week with an ecig. Now I am one month into P90X. Never would have tried it if I was still smoking. Biggest changes...new found passion for working out and I can breath again. I kind of feel younger :D

1- The Obvious...
No terrible smell that only others notice hanging on me like a cloud. I can taste, smell, and enjoy foods/beverages again. I can walk, run, and bike with enormous increases in stamina and ease of physical activity.

2- I get to play with gadgets and get my fix. Nerd heaven.

3- I really do save a TON of cash vaping. Even chain vaping.

4- I'm no longer inhaling/absorbing 7000 toxic chemicals/poison gasses.

It's a no-brainer. I get to enjoy "smoking" now instead of just wishing I could quit the expensive, dangerous monkey on my back. Vaping is awesome.

So Calif
I can breathe much deeper, I can walk much faster and for much longer distances. I could probably run again if my knees would stand the strain.
I do not cough
My sinuses do not get mucked up
I don't stink of smoke
My house and car don't stink of smoke
No more holes being burned in things
No more ashtrays stinking up the house and car
No more crapping up the windows and mirrors in the house and car
No more yellow walls
Whiter teeth
Money in the bank
No more panic attacks cause I'm low on smokes and the store is out
My cat breathes easier and is all over me all the time now
I don't get sick

I smoked for 55 years, the last 20 of them at 2 cartons a week. I quit the day my gear arrived and it was relatively painless for me, which really surprised me.

I will never smoke again.

I cant post in the wellness portion yet so I'll throw this here

I had always been a fitness junky, hated the fact that I smoked 1 pack/2 weeks not alot but yea I was still smoking. It did not really affect my performance much I run 5-10 miles easy and my lifting at the gym was unaffected even doing HIIT workouts.
Since I switched to vaping I started 24 mgs just because I did not believe it would satiate my occasional crave, but now I am down to 12 mgs. The nicotine delivery with my setup of various attys and pvs is insane NOW...I am very particular with my diet and everything else that goes with my fitness..

I noticed definitely that metabolism has kicked up into overdrive I lost 1 lb a week consistently for 3 weeks... to some this was a good thing, to me I was alarmed I had no idea what was causing this, I had to up my calories and even tone down the cardio...to counteract this.

Then I stopped vaping for a week I went back to normal. Can't stop vaping now lol so TLDR Had to readjust either the amout I vaped which was ALOT I love butterscotch eliquid too much I think hahaha. But ya my metabolism is up into overdrive. Alot of studies show that nicotine suppresses appetite but it does the exact opposite for me, after vaping I find myself hungry!! I went from eating 6 meals a day to like 8 smaller meals... I think its the flavors of the liquids that send a signal to my brain and stimulates my GI system... oh and I poop alot more now lol :) Oh one more thing I spike all my liquids with liquid caffiene :) esp before workouts... ahahaha

I worry about the gurgling from a gadget instead of gurgling from my breathing
I can do martial arts again without feeling like an old man
I don't listen to my heart thumping like a hammer instead of falling asleep
My bad moods (if at all) are driven by reasons and situations instead of mysterious fluctuating chemical levels
Cigarettes were fun for three days, I'm three months into vaping and it's still fun
I'm in control of it instead of the other way around
Nobody is risking my life for their profit. Nobody is lying.
I get to hang out on the Inter-Teat with the cool people.
