I grew up in Minnesota, give me 40-60 temps any day and I'm happy. Anything above 75 and I'm miserable

I hadn't ready thought about it, but I guess I'm at least a fan. I dig this Percy Jackson series, Harry Potter, Eragon, most Neil Gaiman stuff... I really enjoyed Ender's Game but the rest of the series sucked. The Southern Vampire series is better than the Twilight series. James Patterson is horrible and his trite assembly line writing needs to diaf. Which reminds me, Fahrenheit 451 was an excellent book.

Summers can get warm and muggy but there's 10,000 lakes to go swimming

I would rather be hot than cold.. I can always cool off by jumping in a pool or the ocean but trying to stay warm when it's freezing cold is a task..

100% of people poled in texas disagree with that statement lol It's gonna hit 104 (with a heat index of 110 i think) today and it's been above 100 for the last couple of weeks here. we are also about to get slapped with stage 3 water restrictions.

I just gave my ELA a spa treatment. It gets dirty, dont know why, I wash my hands a lot and I dont take her out much. Or roll in the dirt. Took it apart, gave it a swabbing of Hoppes gun cleaning solvent around the threads, wow, black gunk, cleaned all the inside surfaces taking care to keep all the Rhodium pieces away. Rinsed with hot water and soap. I use these tiny brushes on the threads.

Dried everything off and gave a few shots with my datavac and shined it up and put it all back together in a half hour, ( from start of breakdown) and all is good.

I just finished cleaning up.

I run a small taqueria in town, sold nearly 380 tacos tonight between 7-9pm!!!

Peter F. Hamilton's Night's Dawn Trilogy. Not bad so far. We'll see after the second volume. Iain M. Banks just has so much awesome to live up to. I hope Hamilton's story ends up deeper and lives up to the hype.

Wow, Hamilton's Night's Dawn Trilogy is getting good. It's now officially keeping me sane from the wait. Recommended for sci-fi readers currently twiddling their thumbs.

Garage is full today. Doing front/rear brake job on my Ranger and replacing inner/outer tie rods on my wifes altima. :sigh: It never ends!
