Gah, the NY Times Mag link died, but I get the gist. Good to know there's more depth to the story. Lol.

Be warned, rojo, that the first book is pretty slow. As in a lot of good trilogies, it's actually 1/3 of a single huge novel. Also, Hamilton's writing is very episodic. I like to think of each chapter as an "episode", and each chapter section as a "scene". :) Now that I'm deep into the second book, my ebook reader is pretty much a part of my hand. Again.
I had to put down the first Night's Dawn book to read this article. Orwell is rolling over in his grave.

Doing my best to ignore The Wiggles while my daughter watches it. I think I've lost at least 3 IQ points in the past 15 minutes. Oh well. At least stupid people generally seem to be happy.

I am enduring another hot day (yuck) here is southern california, trying to keep cool, watching marathon of stupid paranormal show and trying to keep up with a temporary lodger.

My son was walking home from a friends house and a little kitten came up to him and followed him home. I want to adopt, but cant. Its pulling at my heart. I have some networks out now and Im fostering her until a permanent home can be found.

Any one of you great, giving, amazing people ( with the word sucker on your forehead) want to fill your life with joy ( lol) Let me know.

Okay, I am right now making a pledge to NOT buy anymore major purchases. I have more than I NEED and even more than needed. I have 1 ELA and one on its way. I have technically 4 Odys, more than enough drip tips and one Saber Touch which is waiting to go to my boyfriend.

Other than that Im sure I will eventually need more disposable items; wicks, wires, juice etc. Even those I have enough for a few months or more. Batteries im set on too for a long time. I have a gallon each of PG/VG and flavours and nic juice in the refrigerator. For at least 6 months or more. I might need some more of a few flavours.

But really, I dont need anything more. Im set and fortunate to have been able to get these higher end items.
Of course most of this decision is due to my fixed income etc. Ive been fortunate to come into some gift money and sold a few prints to fund the ELA and Odys. I didnt NEED an ELA, my Saber was more than fine. I lusted after a few devices and the Super-T Precise were beckoning me for a year. So I have what I wanted and Im going to be good and STOP looking at the threads like "show us your setup" etc and browsing the classifieds.

I will stick to Super-t threads, check on on the Vapor Moon to help those with Sabers and the GG only to see what is going on and search the forum for things that I can actually help others with.

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.............

I wonder how long it will last............ Now tons of Fatty atties and ............. will show up on the classifieds real cheap..............

It took 45 years for me to find a cat that I like and who likes me. I doubt one who arrives in a Small Priority Flat Rate box would be a hopeful candidate.

Yes, I know what you mean, kittens have a bad habit of becoming cats:) You never really own them, they never do anything that they dont want to do. If you are lucky they make you "theirs" and they dont always approve of who you date/marry. We are merely a "caretaker" and on those special relationships, you are loved by a cat and its amazing.
