I felt the same way! My favorite player as a kid was Gump Worsley. It's weird thinking that no one used a helmet back then, even goalies!

Gump! :) I always thought he was the last one not to wear a mask, but google tells me the Penguins goalie Andy Brown was.

JP Parise was my favorite. Even though his kid plays for the Wild now I can't generate any interest.

I have only gone to a few games since the garden closed. Just not the same with out the feeling of the balcony shaking like its going to fall.. besides its much easier to sit on couch with my ecig and a beer watching it in hd. You should watch the wild that Parise is a great player was really hoping the bruins were going to get him when he was traded

I was exited when they signed Parise, then the lockout happened and the air went out of the balloon. I tried to watch, but the uniforms depress me.

Last night packed over 600 boxes with food, wrapped a mountain of toys and get everything ready for distribution to families in need during the holidays. Probably one of the more gratifying things I've volunteered for. Everyone deserves to have Christmas! :D

Very, very awesome wongster!

I didn't do much this year as far as Christmas volunteering. I help out at a homeless shelter once a week and I am going there Christmas day to help serve lunch..

Rock on doooooooooode and I am sure plenty of little kids will get a smile because of your generosity!

Little kids getting a smile is 5,000,000,000,000 times more important than an adult getting one!

You ROCK!

Well that kinda came out of nowhere. :D

It is holiday time. I am missing my husbands. My first, was the coolest old hippy you ever did meet. He was brilliant, genius, talented, eccentric, and anti-establishment. This song always reminds me of him. It makes me smile. Thought it may make others smile.

Plus, for multiple reasons, I am kinda feeling the words of the song today. :(
