Who got kewl stuff for Christmas?

I got the same thing I get every year ----> Nothing!

Well, there were several donations made to Make A Wish instead of getting me a gift..

It's taken a few years to properly train people but now they know to just make a donation instead of getting me something!

Had a great Christmas with the family in London. About to hop on a train with the wife to spend a few days in Bruges before coming back here for New Years.

Got a partial payment from my moms trust today...

Don't think I've ever seen a check for $512,000.00 before...

The bank is probably going to look at me cross-eyed when I go to deposit it..

She passed away several months ago but / and thank you for the wishes..

Her trust is just taking forever because she has accounts, annuities, bonds, stock and property everywhere..

I think my sister (who is the trustee) is ready to pull her hair out ---> The ole red tape and paperwork shuffle... Luckily though, my moms lawyer is doing most of it..

I think the wife and I went a tad overboard in buying chocolate here in Brugge! I never really used to like chocolate. It wasn't until I quit smoking that I began to crave it.

Did you ever see that movie "In Bruges" great under rated , rare seen film. Its one of my favorites. Trailer doesn't do it justice.


P.S. Is Bruges as beautiful as many say? In the film it is sooooo beautiful ?

Brugge is gorgeous! Whenever we travel, we try to avoid the typical box hotels. We prefer B&B's wherein we get great tips/advice from the locals. That ensures that we avoid the usual tourist traps. Our B&B hosts here gave us some great recommendations for "local" chocolatiers, pubs, and restaurants. If you love beer, chocolate & beautiful medieval architecture, then Brugge should definitely be added to you bucket list!!!

Im wondering how there is a Strata for ELA for trade in the classifieds. I guess they wait till Strata comes out? Very odd, I cant see the Strata even being shipped for at least 3 months . Hmmm

I was thinking there might be some mis-info in that thread. I was under the impression that the Strata would be a standard stock item for the ELA and Simplicity.

I'm also thinking it might be closer than three months.
