What are your thought on obsolete equipment?

Has anyone been around long enough to see equipment being discontinued? I have the kr8-1 with a pt and they have already come out with a kr8-2.

I guess my question is should I worry about the kr8-1 being discontinued and having a hard time finding replacement parts?

So what are your thoughts?

Is the KR8-1 the same as a KR808D-1? If so, there's still tons of that type of equipment out there.

Likely before most equipment becomes truly obsolete it will have lived a normal service life. batteries and atomizers are consumables. Other than chargers, the whole unit is comprised of consumable elements. And, time marches on.

The KR808D-1 is far from obsolete... Originally made by Kanger, but their problem is that other manufacturers made far better performing cartomizers that are compatible with their own batteries. It is the best cig sized PV full stop.
