What are your Vaping Pet Hates ;)

So another recent pet-peeve, everybody raving about radiator pluid and how AMAZING it is, and not hearing a single bad review of it. I signed up for notification and after 3 weeks of waiting finally got a small bottle of it. Loaded up a full tank on my bliss because I was sure it was going to be great, took a big puff and..... about puked. Taste certainly is subjective... I cleaned my bliss 3 times before that taste came completely out.

what would you say is the dominent taste? black licorice? I HATE black licorice!

it's supposed to be absinthe, which is pretty much black licorice. People say they taste fruit in it as well, but I didn't get any of that, just black licorice with no sweetness, pretty dry.

Nice to see a neighboring Buckeye! Maybe we'll meet at VapeBash next April in Chicago ... so far, I haven't actually met any vapers that live close by.

I would love to, but it's 8+ hrs and I don't know if it would be worth it or not.

Oh, wow ... I just looked up Marietta on the map, and it is a long way from Chicago. I was thinking of Mansfield when I saw your location ... even so, I'm hoping to make the jaunt; the coverage of VaperCon II looked like a good time!

Yep, I can't wait to explore all of the wondrous devices and juices on my wish list; ProVari V2, ZMax, Reo Grand VV, Z-atty, GG everything, Ikenvape, Bulli A2-TM atomizer, Buzz Pro 2 (non-compliant), Darwin, Spinners, kGo VV, Volt (yes, Volt), Bloog (yes, Bloog), Vivi Nova Mini, every rebuildable other atty/x-omizer there is, Joyetech eCab and eRoll, DK-Tab, Boba's Bounty, Hype, Mrs. T's anything, High Brow Vapor anything, NiteLiteVapor anything, ECBlend anything, and as many of the almost infinite number of possible flavors that can be experienced (nearly infinite, since flavors can be mixed; I'd say "infinite", but there's a finite number of molecules in the juices).

I really like vaping; nice, fun hobby. And it's nice that it doesn't kill you like ciggies. Excellent touch, that.

Classified Pet peve. Add goes something like this Works great perfect condition, slight scratches can be easily polished away.
Then why are you selling it with scratches if its so easily polished!

I find the term "analog" annoying. Vaporizers are no more digital than cigarettes are. "Stinkies" is good, though.

Which brings us back to ......

Mine is people who are stubborn to the point of ridiculosity when the option of vaping is presented to them.

The other night I was at George's in Unionville, CT (great food, great bar if you're ever in the area), and while I was waiting for my take-out lasagna dinner, I saw the usual assortment of wretches huddled outside the door, sucking on their stinkies. Student of human psychology and Good Samaritan that I am, I thought "what the heck", and, Woo-powered EMDCC in hand, approached a late-50's-ish-looking couple whose faces bore the scars of many years of smoking. "Excuse me", I said, "but have you heard of the terrific advances in the field of electronic cigarettes, and what a wonderful alternative they are to smoking cigarettes"? The lady says to me "Oh, someone told me those were bad for you".



God help us all.

If I had a nickel for every stupid person out there, I'd have a lot of nickels.

Unfortunately I can avoid for so long. I said my piece on a thread and from now on when I see unsaid name, I will avoid like the plague! Must be the mood I'm in. Usually I just don't stop to read. Oh well, what's done is done. I will live with the consequences.

I've vaped in the movies, if I can sit in the back with nobody near me and not produce any visible vapor. I wouldn't want anyone blowing plumes in front of me. I still see your posts because I'm an adult who doesn't need everybody to agree with me.

Pet peeve of today is the crumudgeny old lady behind me this morning who did the fake cough when the tiniest bit of my vapor got near her. I was tempted to hold my nose and ask her how much perfume she put in her bath this morning.
