[Oh ..... and yes, just for the record I am nuts, not that that needs to be spelled out; this is really just a procedural thing ... kinda like a warning label, or that little message in your rear view mirror, which I will paraphrase here as "Some members of this forum are even wackier than they have previously appeared"]

Not wanting to sound perfectionist, and this is coming from she who has tried to vape her mod with no battery in it, but "may contain traces of nuts" is more succinct.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Yet another new one...I recently got an Innokin iTaste VV and really like it but I have been an auto battery user from the start so...picking up my iTaste, not paying attention, and thinking it's an X2 auto, talk about a dry hit! One of these times I'm convinved my eyeballs will end up in the back of my head.

Vaping Pet Peeve - That way too few people (for my liking, anyway) have had Pet Peeves lately! I love this thread!! C'mon, people, keep on .....ing! I know you want to! It's one of life's simple pleasures, for gawd's sake!! Don't keep it bottled up!! Let it out, before it eats you up inside!!!! Life's too short not to vent about stuff (kindly and non-judgmentally, of course - hehe) whenever you feel the need to!!!!

Don't take it from me ... take it from Dr. Leo Marvin, and Bob Wiley .....

If you don't untie the emotional knots inside yourself, you're going to explode .....

It's so simple, yet so brilliant ........ baby steps .... baby steps ......... untie your knots .............

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving ...... and I do mean everyone. :) :vapor:

I'm sure this is listed somewhere in the 159 pages i missed... but i only read the first 7 (shameface)

when i'm watching a review of a juice to get some idea of what i'm buying (Because the websites description is "a magical blend of flavors...") -- and the reviewer...after blowing out a huge mouth of vape goes... "it tastes... well... its very good... magical almost!".

*headdesk*

(and then you get that one that can't be described any other way..and you go... "oh...")

If you go into your settings and specify "40 posts per page", then it'll be only 40 pages, and you'll be able to read the entire thread in 1/4 the time, if my math is correct. :p

And I could not agree more that the making and viewing of juice reviews is a waste of time on a scale approached only by the viewing of professional wrestling, monster truck rallies, and "The View", in no particular order.

Genesis atomizer tanks. After hours of fiddling to get it working right, I didn't think the performance was as spectacular as I was lead to believe. A good vape? Sure. Worth the time and effort? Not for me.

Come at me, ECF.

For me, for now, the Vivi Nova version 2.5 or 3.0, 3.5ml, bone stock, gets the job done just fine. Yes, I'm sure there are better attachments out there, but I feel no need to explore at the moment.

Recently, my biggest peeve is video reviews.
Is there any credentials involved other than having a webcam? And do I really need 10 seconds of your ugly "golf ball through a garden hose" face, only for the follow up cliche "blow at the camera" exhale? "Hmmm.. Vapor production is okay, even though I really don't care about that"..... No s**t? Then why mention it at all?
Or- " I'm vaping this on my super bad mod set aaaaat 4 volts..... *click click click click click click*" do you think I don't believe your shiny tube is VV? Did you just decide to flip on your webcam without setting anything up? And how about you take the bottles out of the shipping bag first so there isn't 10 seconds of you fiddling with a crinkly plastic bag in your lap? Or take the caps off?
By the way- I think I hear your mom calling from upstairs... Your hot pockets are ready.
Sorry if this is a repeat but this many pages is too much reading for me right now...
/end rant\

Its been said before, but I don't like the word "analog". I just don't get it. Where did the it come from?

People conflate electronic with computers and analog with not computers.

It's what happens when you compound levels of ignorance.

And before anyone chides me for that, there's nothing inherantly digital about the word "computer". Gears are turing complete, which means you can do just about all of the calculations that computers do with gears. Halo 7 (or whatever they're up to) would be hard to play with a gear-based computer, but you could do the math behind everything that happens with them.

You go along to a Vendors site, try to enlarge images and they wont load or fragment. You email the vendor and report the problem, writes back and says "thank you for reporting the issue, we are aware of it, we are in the process of fixing it." Great Stuff!!
Couple of weeks go by, still no fix. Write to vendor, vendor says: yeah sorry, if you want to look at the pictures tell me which ones and I'll send them all to you in a email.
Seriously, you're going to send me an entire sites worth of images in an email???

Ok, Ok, I finally have one...........People peeving about Reveiwers and reviews, if you don't like em, don't watch em. After all it is just a monumental "waste of time". Odin, I dislike this thread, it is so negative, really makes my blood boil sometimes. There are so many things to be happy about when it comes to vaping and it is a wonderful, caring community, I just do not see the appeal of finding every possible negative to rant against. Maybe it is just me though.

Just the way I see it:
Everyone has something to gripe about- I don't care who you are. It doesn't lessen the feeling of community if the members can be open and honest- good or bad, right or wrong. I'm pretty sure every contributing member to this thread has been supportive of another member at one point or another- most on multiple occasions- and are only exercising their right to freedom of speech and opinion. I don't think anybody can deny that they enjoy a good gripe now and again, and no matter what the subject, someone is always going to be on the receiving end. It may sting a little, but much of it can be viewed as constructive criticism, especially views on those whom have chosen to make themselves public on the Internet (i.e. video reviews or commentary in general).
Consider music: you may enjoy Metallica. I think their music garbage. Some people don't like the way the singer looks or the bass player holds his guitar. Is that to say that those opposing opinions ruin the music community? No- it proves that there is diversity among said community, and that is what I would consider to be a healthy thing. Apply this theory to any community and the same logic stands.
Besides- I'm not really sure that ranting about other people ranting really qualifies as..... Well..... Not ranting. Take it with a grain of salt. In the end we are all different, with differing opinions- and that is a beautiful thing.
