I hate when a juice is named, "Super Galactic- Alien Encounter- Blueberry OOZE" How annoying is that? Blueberry is blueberry, and anything blueberry is good with me. This is just an example, but I'm sure you've seen such gimmicks. It's like adding personal to vaporizer- doesn't make sense. I'm sure some people have fun with it, but it all just makes me crack up. But you know, I do love the term 'modified electronic cigarettes' because it separates disposables, (which those are my BIGGEST peeve) from quality mods. Many people never give e-smoking a 2nd chance because they find a "Square" at their corner 7/11 and it ends up ruining the experience and then they go on to stereotype the entire industry. Not COOL "Square"!

There! Now I can sleep tonight. Thank you for this great vent session. :D

Ok I read most but not all.,.so if these are repeats I am sorry.

People glaring at me when I vape around my kids. Hey people they are the reason I stopped smoking.
Gurgling clearo.
Getting ready to go on a trip and realizing I don't have enough juice to make it through the week, so I have to beg my supplier to send the stuff quickly. She usually does (thanks Dawn!)

when one of my roommates brings his pv into the bathroom while he does his business, then he comes downstairs smoking it and will touch whatever he pleases!

it's just mortifying if i'm eating and he comes over and grabs a chip or something off my plate. i've actually thrown whole meals away because of it!

My current peeve is Provari owners not actually listening. There are other cheaper VV mods and batteries available now. When someone asks about a LavaTube, they are asking about a LavaTube. This isn't an invitation for Provari (hipsters?) to start telling them to "get a Provari, they are the best", etc, etc.. I'm so tired of reading it.

We know Provari's are great. I'm not denying this. But when someone is asking for advice on a different device, that's the one they are interested in, for whatever reason. You'd have to be living under a rock not to know about the Provari. More often than not, people have considered the Provari, but due to it's cost are looking for a good alternative.

So. When someone asks about a LavaTube, why not help them by keeping your views on the Provari to yourself and give them an objective opinion on the device they are looking at?? Everyone has different budgets. Now there are cheaper alternatives, which actually do as good a job as a Provari, why not give them the advice they are asking for??

Rant over.

Somewhere out there
Mine is that we still do not have a perfect delivery system for vaping, we have attys/carts, cartos, clearos and tanks. Each one has it's own issues. By far my best is and perfered choice is a glass tank with carto, but still we don't have a perfect hit everytime delivery system that is fiddle free, drives me bonkers sometimes! LOL bnrk

When local smoke shops buy from the exact same vendor I do, and markup juices by 200%, batteries by 250%, and cartos / atty's by 400%. Seriously, when does a basic Joye 510 atty cost $29.95?? A single Boge carto going for $9.95, and a Riva 510 kit with 1 battery selling for $99.95. I'm surprised people in my area actually want to take up vaping with that type of gouging going on. To top it off, their customer service suckkkssss! One girl has an issue when customers come in the door and make her stop looking at porn... yes, porn... on her cell phone long enough for her to get ...... at them when they are asking "dumb" questions about which device is best. The worst part is, she's the manager. ;/

My vaping hate? That I'm the family "juice maker" whhhhy why didn't I keep the excitement of DIY to myself??

I have become the family researcher and tinkerer. Something is broke, I get to mess with it, something needs cleaned I do it. I enjoy it sometimes but other times I am like if your .... is broken you fix it! What happens if I die? I honestly think they would all go back to smoking.

Oh and my dh always tries whatever I just made and then is like "Ohhhh can I have that one?"

Oh one more,,,again sorry if it has been said.

I cannot stand when someone asks for a good product and they get advice on something that you basically have to spend an hour modifying to make it the best ever. Example "I LOVE (insert product here) but when you get them you must cut this, snip that, burn this, drill that, let it sit for 4 days, do the process over again and then it works wonders." yeah no thanks.

Well, the term "modified" shouldn't really be applied to an unmodified, factory built ecig. Only a minor peeve of mine, because "mods" are generally as you describe... "anything that's not a cigarette shaped tiny little battery device."

Sitting down, facing forward.
I have four pet peeves -

1 - When I sit down, after a nice dinner, to enjoy my coffee, a movie or game and some quiet vaping at the end of a busy day and the battery goes dead. So I groan, get up and get a fresh battery, sit down and start enjoying myself when the carto runs dead.....grrrrrrrrrrrrr

2 - Veterans and other experts telling me I need this Super Duper 4 amp hour, 12 volt, 1 quart tank system with a 10 coil super agitating fluximator and a flux capacitor to match that comes with a belt clip for the battery that pulls your pants down. I need a substitue for a cigarette, not a full time 8 hour a day job keeping everything fine tuned so it runs right. I just want an alternative method of satisying my oral, manual motion and nicotine needs. Maybe a year or two from now I'll be pulling a Die Hard car battery in an Express Wagon that powers my set-up, but right now a Volt works fine for me. I don't want to spend hours in the gym strengthening my upper body so I can hold the thing up to my mouth long enough to take a nice drag (not a "toot" or a "hit").

3 - People that want an amp hour or larger battery in a package the size of a fountain pen (yeah, I'm old enough to have used one as a kid). Doesn't anyone understand the physics involved here?? If a battery like that were available, a "personal vaper" would probably be the last place they'd show up. Yes, I have 1.5 volt 1200 mah lithium ion batteries, but they're just a tad bigger than that, not to mention too heavy to be practical, plus these things need a minimum of 4+ volts to work properly when regulated down. Who wants to walk aorund sucking on something the size of a salami, never mind, don't list your names (ROFLM#O).

4 - All the darn nomenclature. This is like trying to learn Latin in high school. Add to that all the different styles and variations of tanks, cartos, carts, atomizers, batteries and so on. Between the alphabet soup and odd names, it's more like trying to make sense out of a bill passed by Congress regulating underwear imported from East Jabib, or is that West Jabib?

Yeah, generation 74 clearomizers are supposed to solve that issue, though. :p
