What are your Vaping Pet Hates ;)

ok for pet peeves, yeah 'toot' just sounds dumb to me, well not so much dumb more like it sounds like a word hat your grandmother uses but no one else does, like you wonder if they call a television remote "the clicker" too

on the other hand I do personally refer to vaping as "smoking" although I KNOW it's not REALLY smoking, it's mostly semantics


also the APV phrase strikes me funny too for some reason "advanced" personal vaporizer? did you need to go to classes and take a test to be able to use it? personally I call them BAVD's (Big ... vaping Devices)


and yeah I've gotten the provari acolytes when I first came to this forum myself, I just had a question if the small "fake cigarette" vaporizers would fit in a long stem cigarette holder, being that I collect them and it would be cool if I can use my holders with one, and in the thread got a response how "well if you want a long stem, just get a mod device and just screw a bunch of atomizers together, it'll kinda look like one of those" complete with a photo of a setup of them doing just that as a reference

yeah that's nice but it's not what I was asking nor does it look anything like an elegant stem, it looks like a big silver battery with about 8 atomizers screwed together

Wolf when I asked my mom's Dr about it before I bought them he was all for it. She has COPD and he said it has to be better than smoking. Now almost 9 months later he recommends them to people because mom's lung function is so much better. He was really impressed.

I wish mine knew something about them, but I'm lucky in that she seems pretty neutral instead of just flat out against.

My biggest pet love is that I never smoked in a car with my pets. love for my dogs...my husband (who doesn't smoke) figured that out one day and just a laughed because I smoked in the car with him. hey! The little creatures are the little creatures, even if they do weigh over 90 lbs.

My biggest pet hate...how when I go to my husband's favorite bar and they continually tease me about "smoking" bigger and bigger peni$us. My husband, who is completely supportive of my quitting smoking and starting vaping, is compelled to make witty retorts. By this time, don't you think they could just let it go? geez. I'm really tired of hearing the three inch joke.

I agree with you, out of courtesy I use Vape on the forum, but at home 'going for a smoke' does slip out more often than not. Just being Honest

People that write in and say I hate the word vape/ smoke, use something else, yet they have been making this statement for months and months on the forum, yet never seem to offer up the new magic word.

Bad manners, there's just no excuse for it. If someone comes on and has a positive story to tell, no serious questions, just a personal tale they get ignored, someone else writes in a two line sentence with 'crap' taking up the most part, no real question and gets five pages of 'welcome' ??

Someone asking for advice:
1. go to an other forum outside of ECF,
2. being told a device is rubbish without a reason.

Question: I own A, B, C, batteries and X, W, Z clearo's/cart's/carto's,
Will 1, 2, 3 work with those? because someone said 8 is great? What???

Who wants to walk aorund sucking on something the size of a salami, never mind, don't list your names (ROFLM#O).

My pet peeve:

Groupies. Whether they be groupies for Macs, Segways, Saturns, Fenders..............

...........or PVs.

I for one was relieved Apple never made an "i-Car" w/ matching cellphones and accessories to go with the paint job. though I'm sure people would pay huge deposits, wait in line, as well as pay higher-than-MSRP prices to get one.

I think fan clubs and social bonding/sharing around an appreciation for something is great.

But feeling intense loyalty ---- to inanimate objects ---- just strikes me as humorous.

I thought this superbowl commercial was hysterical......the idea of out-consuming others for status of some sort, in a global world where anybody can pretty much buy anything......and the hype that is built as part of marketing strategy:

I can't stand that!!!

Even worse, when I'm on my tablet the 'over 18' button is too low and it won't scroll down so I have to turn it into portrait mode just to click that each time. Talk about annoying.
