No John, I made my comments on the 08th of August '12, You responded 11 Minutes later. 4 days short of a Month has passed.??? And I brought it up? I'm not the one rehashing it, if you feel my comments were directed at you, well, not much I can do about it.
Please Read the post again#639. Post is not directed at any member in particular, comments made are simply my peeves. I still maintain if the cap fits...
And so far as throwing your 'bones' at me, I'd rather you refrained.

Lol! If you had been suspended from the ECF for a month, it would also take you that long to reply :p.

Actually, it was just a week. It just took an extra three weeks to decide if I ever wanted to bother posting here again. And I'm actually very proud of that suspension, but I'll refrain from saying why.

And can I ask a favor of you? Could you please just send me a PM with a list of grievances, instead of going off-topic by dissing me in public? TIA.

On topic: I agree with the Pet Peeve earlier about the need for something to go into tanks that doesn't suck like conventional cartomizers that either taste funny or clog up after two days (mine seem to anyway; or at least they did, until I switched to the Vivi Nova. I just changed the coil for the first time, after a month of hassle-free use). I think that a rebuildable carto that fits into a tank (DCT/Phiniac/MAP/J-/whatever) would be a huge addition to vaping technology.

Or just something like the vivi nova that could use prettier or more robust tanks. It wouldn't be hard. Replace the bottom with a carto-sized thing with a 510 female on the top, add screw threads to the top (where the gasket goes) that takes another tube and sticks out the top.

It'd install like a cartomizer but work like a clearomizer……you could put it in DCTs or J-Tanks or Lava Tanks or whatever (if it were sized correctly)……and all you lose is a tiny bit of ease of use filling it.

You could even come out with different size tube sections for top or bottom coil designs.

"Toot" is ridiculous. My girlfriend and I sarcastically say it sometimes just for a good laugh. When my daughter was a baby and she would fart, wed say "was that a toot?!" So yeah.. don't say toot.

~Vaping is a lifestyle~

My niece used to say that all the time, and it's the very reason I will never, EVER use that word to describe anything related to my tasty, delicious juice.

I haven't been vaping for all that long, so I haven't had time to accumulate a list of peeves for this like I have for other things, like, say driving!!

BUT ...

My current pet peeve is when I go to take my Vivi Nova tank off my battery, and unscrew the bottom of the tank instead, and spill a whole tank full of liquid. I've now done this twice. Obviously, I am a slow learner!!!

I did that once. Since then, I've been putting my thumb nail on the knurled bottom section and starting it like that.

Yeah, me too.

Good thing the thing was nearly empty.

^^Ha ha, that's a pretty cool coincidence.

That is me in my avatar actually. BumbleBee, if you ever want to come down here and ride the Tail of the Dragon, and all the off the grid "good stuff", just let me know. I'd be more than happy to lead you around some of the best roads in the country. :thumb:

I've been Googling for over two years what D'naaz means. No answer yet.
Two years, wow. Here's the answer for you.

Da Nazz, or the Nazz. Basically it's British slang for the shiznit.

Originally the term came from this poem-
Lord Buckley's "The Nazz"

I was later lifted and repurposed by David Bowie-

I love the dragon, haven't been there in a long long time. I was supposed to go down in July, to celebrate the bday of a very good friend that was killed in January, but I got married in July, and just couldn't time the trip :-(

We have some really nice roads here, but nothing like that. I always said the next time I was there, I was gonna get off the tourist path and go see what else was out there to ride.

Head out to have some fun :)

I hate when some-one says they want a small ciggish sized pv and get bashed to buy an ego twist instead.

I tend to make sure that such people understand that by going with a look-alike they'll be sacrificing some undeniable advantages that they'd get with other vaping equipment. Among them, IMO, are increased battery life, a better choice of "attachments", more vaping between refills, and, of course, variable voltage. (If a VV Volt has come out lately, scratch that last one).

I do my best to balance any recommendations to those having an interest in look-alikes between their expressed desires and the fact that they generally don't know much, as I of course didn't when I was just starting out.

If they have a decent handle on the pluses and minuses of the available choices and still want a look-alike, then great, get the excellent "Volt".
