I meant to ask you gutter, is it mechanical or electrical issues you're having with that amp?

it's a bit mechanical and a lot electrical. it's a conversion amp that started out as one thing, got tweaked, got changed, got tweaked,etc.. etc...

the crux of it is that it's too much stuff in too small of a space and i'm too cheap to buy a scope and the owner is too cheap to buy a new enclosure and cabinet.

the bias supply and power supplies were both out of whack and now that i've got them dialed in, the preamp is not wanting to cooperate. it's one of those things that i've been doing in between other repairs and it's been here too long - it's time to get it back to the owner.

    Somewhere between here and there
I've got a plasma cutter in my shop now like that. It's been there since the end of July. The manufacturer had the parts on back order for almost two months. The customer brought me some parts out of another machine but they were the wrong ones. The right ones finally arrived today.

man..it seems like those kinds of projects build up on you quick if you're not on top of them 24/7.you look up and you're 2 months behind all of the sudden.sheesh...

    No. Cal.
    Sounds like job security? :)

Haven't visited the throne yet but wondering how the multi-hole throne is coming OTD?

Same way I started the day, with a bit of Black Clove. Not to worry though, throughout the day I rotated between BC, P-38 and Mint Mango Berry. (Gutter, perhaps we should petition Aroma for a new, butch name for MMB? How about Mint Mango Bad A** or Mint Mango Madness? It really does pack a punch for such a frilly named ejuice.

I was just starting to get caught up a little Monday and everyone brought stuff in at the same time. I'm back to being a week or better behind.

ouch. That's what got me into this position last week - Had 4 multi amp drop offs in 3 days or something? of course, they're all the most important artists on the face of the planet and can't make their art without their equipment........

that's what i'm saying - it is not aptly named. i'm thinking

"EXXXTREME super crazy knock out menthol juice with berries"

would just PULL the customers in :)

My customers are like that too. It's my fault that they are running a business where they don't have an extra machine. I had a guy come in yesterday at 7:45 in the morning that dropped his off 3:00 the day before and acted like I was a jerk because I hadn't looked at his yet. I told him that his was about the tenth or so in line and that if he needed a machine that I could rent him something.
