Is this a problem with a single battery PV, or just the double battery ones?
Cartomizers (KR808) and DSE901 use the same threading so the same attachment works for both. But the 901 has a hole for airflow in the atomizer and the cartomizers don't. So if you ever buy an adapter so you can use your cartomizers on another battery, make sure it says cartomizer or 808 in addition to 901 or else you won't get the needed air.
And I still can't figure out if I should change my order from a 510 to an 801 because of the shorting possibility.
The 901 and KR808 have the same thread connectors but I don't know if the 901 connector needs an air channel. The adapters from a 510 to a 901 that Jeff supplies do have that.Available with either a 901 801, or 510 connector.
Check with Jeff.

My guess is that if all you want to use are cartomizers, the 901 connector is the way to go. But that's the one connector I didn't consider so I don't know for sure.
If you order with a 510 connector, for $5 you get the adapters for 801 and 901. It specifically says the 901 adapter has the air channel for cartomizers.
I thought you were talking about which basic connector to get. If you order with a 901 connector and you want adapters for the others, you have to buy them somewhere else.
My dilemma is that I use both an 801 and a 510 but prefer the 801 slightly. I was going to order it with an 801 connection and buy adapters but I decided that I'd rather have the adapters Jeff sells so I ordered a 510.
But, apparently, 510 to 801 adapters can cause shorts. So I'm back to thinking that I might be better off getting an 801 Chuck and buying an adapter for that connection.
Eh. I ordered on 2/24. There's no way Jeff's even looked at my stuff yet. I'll give myself until this weekend to decide.
