What attys are you using? I have been using lr306 and lr510's. I just received iken lr mini 801's to try. I get most of my attys from iken. I also just got some em lr510's. Just curious to know where you are getting yours. Does anyone know where to get 2.2-2.5ohm from?? Or are they just reg attys. Thanks.

Hey Blake, I just got a box of HV901s from Isaac a few minutes ago along with a new DMM. I just metered an unused standard 510 atty from an old Riva kit and it came in at 2.4Ω after allowing for the .5 varience in the meter so they're right in there.
I've been trying the 801s and the 306s lately but I found some old HV 901s I've had for about 6 months and they seem to perform every bit as good as the others when I crank the Buzz up to 5.6V. That's why I ordered more. My Buzz has an 808 connecter on it so 901s are the easiest for me.
Still use cartos most of the time though.

After I got my mini REO I have been using cisco lr306. I swear nothing can kill those. Havent had one dye on me yet. I still use cartos on my Riva and Chuck. Depends on where and what Im doing if its cartos or attys. The only thing I dont like about them is they get hot!!! I have a 901 kit I have never used. Maybe Ill break out those attys to see how they do.

I only have one 306 atty. It's an IKV HV 306. I didn't prime it properly when I first got it and burnt the wick. Vaporologist, over at Isaac's forum suggested I dewick it so I pulled the wick out from under the bridge and It was great at 5.6 volts then. The only problem I had with it then was leaking. It could just be the drip tip.
Isaac gifted me an 801 Semi atomizer (2.5Ω) that is nice at 4.7-4.8 volts but I don't think either of those are noticeably better than the HV 901s I have. I drip on those for part of the day and the switch to the 510 Gold V2 Dripstyle cartos (which are awesome!). 5cardstud is sending me an 801 Fusion carto to try out. It has the guts of the 510Gold with an 801 connecter. He loves them so I'm anxious to try them out.

I guess I'm kinda low rent. I was using LR 510s for a short while, and decided to return to standard Joye 510 atties. I just like lower voltage/normal resistance better. I also throw a 901 into the mix from time to time. The Ego Mega cylinder and cone atties are also very nice at 3.2 volts.

I have a GGTS with AVS, and have vaped it at 6 and 7.2 volts. Way too much for me on standard 901 atties. Also the GLV2 Mini at 3.2 or sometimes 3.7 volts with standard 510/901s is great. There's also 2 306's in my kit. They are ok- but rarely used.

I'm with you wiz, I haven't changed up my hardware in months. I picked up 50 regular, plain jane 808 blanks and been happy with them. Get between 4 weeks and 4 months outta each one running them on a 5v boxmod using a coax 'n' connector. I still have 1 dewicked, debridged 901 for testing my diy flavors but that's it. I use my cartos with a drip tip, add 5-6 drops of juice and vape away. The vape tastes dry before you burn them so you only ruin them when you stop paying attention.

Same here Tranced. I just can't justify paying $6 or $8 for an atty when I can get 5 cartos for the same price. They hold more liquid and one will last me up to two weeks before I get any drop off in flavor. Not bad for under $2 every two weeks. Like you I just use drip tips and top off when I notice the flavor starting to fade.

Sure wish I wouldn't have stockpiled on 801 attys way back when.......I would probably have over 250 cartos in equal value.

Nice to see you posting again!
:)Wiz!
