They're protected. Look close, and you can see the protection circuit in the pic. Note also that the seller is "china_seller200907", located in Hong Kong. 1 week means either they have a US warehouse, or more likely that they will *leave Hong Kong* within a week. Then there's 7-15 days to cross the Pacific, possible lag time in customs, and however long it takes USPS to get it from San Francisco or San Diego to you.

Be prepared for a wait, but if they actually DO show up in a week, let me know ;)

10 days total from ordering to getting them. Not too bad! I ordered a charger too - the charger came 2 days earlier than the batteries.

The batteries showed up in 10 days. Not too bad!

Now I have another question:
After reading about exploding batteries, it looks like this is the safest? The AW IMR LiMN, correct? AW IMR 14500 LiMN Rechargeable Lithium Battery

It's also suggested that the Pilo charger is the best. Which is making me wonder about my chargers being okay. I am really concerned about safety. The chargers I have just say "Video/Digital Camera Travel Charger, Input: AC100V-240V - 50/60Hz Max 150mA, Output: DC4 2V === 600mA"

Are my chargers good enough?
