I have a efest 2100mah 30amp 18650 battery at the moment and was looking to upgrade to a sony vtc5, there are so many only does anyone have a good source for authentic vtc5? What batteries are equivalent to the vtc5 ad a alternative?

HE4's, Samsung 25R's, Or the Efest 35A (which are actually 20A). Efest also has new cells out they claim are 60A pulse and 38A continuous. Not sure if you want to be the guinea pig though.

I also like the Orbtronic SX30, similar performance to a VTC 4.

Im using an imren 2500mah 40amp high discharge and im loving it. Two days vaping battery only about 1/4 used
Im guessing its 40 amp pulse probably 20-30 continuous. Im still pretty new to this but i have yet to charge the battery loving its quality. I have it in a sigelei 50w v2 but only using 1.2ohm coil atm will test with sub ohm later
