What Batts will work with Ego Charger.

Hi everyone. I have a Ego charger that came with my kit from cignots. Here is a link to the page where you can see my charger. My wife hates the look of the Ego so I was wondering what all batts could I use with this charger? Would a KR808 work would a 901 work what are my options. Thanks for your help.

Hi dockholidaiy! eGo/Tornado/Vgo,etc. is sort of a supersized 510/Titan/Magma and the charger (unless I need more coffee this morning) just has more space around the connector to allow for the diameter of the threading end of the eGo type battery, so both models (eGo and 510) will work. They're like a little brother and a big brother.

The Blu (super mini) and similar fit...but are NOT compatible due to a polarity reversal.

I'm not 100% sure about 808s and 901s etc. but my gut tells me no go since they're unrelated models.

The Ego charger is not very durable, and falls apart sooner or later (and the wires it comes with are flimsy, so they break), so get honed in on your soldering skills, because being out a charger is enough to make a person lose their mind.

On that note, the Riva is a popular one that uses the same charger, and is somewhat cheaper than the Ego.

That's what I'm talking about, so best thing to do is buy multiple chargers IMHO.

The eGo charger should not be used on a 510, reguardless of the fact that it will fit. It is a fast charger and will damage 510 batts.

Do not use the eGo charger with a vGo battery, it will cook the vGo.
