Over the years I smoked a wide variety of brands, finally decided to switch to American Spirit, hoping to get rid of most of the gunk that is put in regular brands. Am. Spirit went to over $8.00 a pack and I switched to a generic Native brand at about $3.50 a pack (YUK). This was when I made the plunge to E-cig and have not had an analog since I received my kit (4 weeks now..WOO HOO) and have no desire for one. Nothing has worked for me over the years, I am sooooooooo happy !!

Brands I've smoked:
Marlboro (Lights, Reds, 27's)
Camel Light
USA Golds (Undergrad)

Cigarettes here are about 42-44 a carton. I know they are considerably cheaper in my area (Missouri) than many other areas in the US, however, that is still too high for me. I switched over to an e-cigarette about 3-4 months ago based on this website I chose a dse-901 and since the day I first used the e-cigarette I have not purchased another analog or smoked one since. I definitely have no regrets switching over for both cost and hopefully less unhealthy.

Great topic! Where do I start. I started smoking when I was 16. My parents' smoked Parliament, so I started with those, stealing them out of their bedside table.

A few years later, I was smoking Saratoga.

Then onto Virginia Slims.

Then Marlboro Lights.

Then Capri 120s....in the pink box....gotta admit I still miss those (but not enough to smoke them ever again).

To save money, I went to Native Lights and bought then on the reservation.

Then I tried to quit and thought the Eclipse cigarette would help. They didn't...and were wretchedly expensive.

So, back to Native Lights.

32 years of smoking altogether, and here I am...vaping! Most happy!!

Marlboro Lights - frequently and lately up to 2 packs a day.
Been smoking for over 40 years. Could never quit successfully but I've seriously tried many times in the past.
I had my last Marlboro cig on Friday and only that one. The last one in the pack.
I'm doing just great and having fun :D with my Joye510.
No stress! Minimal withdrawal symptoms. Nothing that 24mg RY4 can't handle.
I'm now a vapin' fool! :)

I'll be moving on down to 18mg soon enough and hang with that a while 'till I'm comfortable and confident before moving on again. That's the plan anyway. I don't care if the process takes years.

I have been a Camel Filters smoker for about 13 years, to the tune of a pack and a half to two packs per day.

I recently picked up a Blu starter kit from a buddy, bought some juices, and have only been smoking a few analogs a day. I can see why my buddy wanted to rid himself of the Blu. I've been able to get some decent results with it, but it's just not enough to make me stop buying a pack of analogs when I run out (which is WAY less often).

I just ordered one of CigNot's 'No-Box' kits, a usb passthrough, and an assortment of 3mL juices. I have really high hopes for this model/order to help me fully kick these nasty things, and move on to strictly vapor.

Sorry for going so far off topic... I'm just super stoked to receive my new PV!!!

Marlboro lights to start, Newports until a girlfriend made me switch, and finally Marlboro Menthol FF.

Tried some other stuff along the way (stuffing, Nat Shermans) but pretty much always came back to my MM's.

Still working on quitting. There are times of the day where I just really want an analog. It's worst in the morning, and after working out (which are probably the two times I really shouldn't be smoking!)

Surprisingly (to me, anyway), I love vaping when I drink more than smoking. Great to be able to vape indoors.

I'm not giving up though! I've got some more juices on the way. I know it's just a matter of time until I find the right combo.
