I started out stealing Merit Ultralight 100s from my mom and Winstons from my dad (talk about opposite ends of the spectrum!) and when I came of age...I think I started out with Basic lights, then Marlboro lights, then Camel lights. Occasionally a pack of menthol of whichever brand thrown in. I like a menthol once in awhile. Also randomly alternated between regular size and 100s (Marlboro) and 99s (Camel). Why 99?? Did that one mm really make a big difference??

Camel Light 99s were my main smoke for the last eight years or so.

Newport for alot of years, then Marlboro Menthol Light. After the big tax hike and the Fire Safety additive I started hand rolling my own with tiny filters. Then I bought an overpriced RN 4081 at the mall, found this forum and got a 510. Now down from 1 to 1 1/2 packs a day to maybe 1 cig a day (still shooting for 0. It WILL happen) :)

At 12 years old, when I started smoking...it was whatever I could get my hands on. Most of my friends smoked Newports. My parents smoked Winstons, and I would very rarely gank one of those. I did make my own money, and at that time, a 12 year old could still go to the store that new we bought for mom and dad, and get myself a pack. Eventually I settled on Marlboro red box....cause you had to tell them box. Did the Reds for a couple decades and then I was diagnosed with cancer. Doc says "no smoking 3 weeks before surgery and 8 weeks after" YEAAAAA. He didn't want the carcinogens to create necropathy in my incisions. We went out on the balcony and smoked once or twice a day...changed to Marlboro light,,,tried to get serious about quitting so I went to Marlboro ultra light 72's. The smoking didn't hurt my healing process...but the thought of quitting stick in my brain as something I want to do....then comes e-cig and I jump right in @V4L

Started with Marlboro 100s at 19 because about half my friends were smokers and I has started to party a bit. I guess I wanted to see what the cigs were like. From there went to reds then back to 100s.Met my husband and when we moved in together went back and forth between mine and his. He smoked Marlboro lights.Fast forward 10 years and cigs getting more and more costly started to roll our own and what ever name brand that had a deal on them.

Almost two months ago got our 510s and stopped buying the cigs but for two packs that tied us over when we ran out of juice 2 days before our order arrived.

I have been making him a lot of watermelon and he seems to like his bourbon quite a bit too.The watermelon is real good with blueberry added.

I have been making myself some English Toffee +Chocolate+butterscotch :p for all day vaping and some apple and watermelon red hot for the times my taste buds decide to take a mini vacation on me.

Ok since I just spent 40 minutes reading everyone else's stories. I guess I'll add mine.
Stealing Mom's- Virginia slim light 100's
Marlboro Lights
Camel unfiltered ($0.50 a pack in college)
Parliament Lights
And finally quit Pall Mall Lights on Feb 7th
This is my 3rd all out attempt to quit and should be my last thanks to everyone here and the e-cig
