I'd been smoking rollies for a very long time - mind you, not store bought tobacco, this Turkish tobacco I used to get from Turkey. This tobacco is so amazing, that any packed tobacco in the US tasted like crap. In any case, I switched to vaping, not only because of the health risks of smoking analogs, but also because I enjoyed smoking so damn much that I was not planning to quit for a long time (mind you, I did quit for 4 months before)

i smoked tons of different brands. but i guess my big BIG thing was Djarum Blacks. before the cigar thing. i loved them, and i DOUBT ecigs can give me the same feeling of the clove numbness and crackle sound and all that i loved in Djarums. maybe one day.

EDIT: i started when i was 18, picked up a pack of basic. before i was 18 i would pilfer some from my mom (newport lights) i loved dunhill and tons of other brands. i was in it for the flavor more then the nicotine, but i ended up loving the nicotine so i did RYO bali shag then just went back to the different Djarums. I SEE TONS OF CAMEL AND MARLBORO ON HERE... yeah i smoked one or two SINGLE CIGS of those, but could never actually BUY ONE god its horrible. anywho, i started late 17 and quit 21 (i hope, i still cheat every so often cuz i just love doing smoke tricks and such) does this make me a bad vaper?

Always strong, "harsh" tasting brands. Chesterfield Filter, Camel Filter and finally Winston Filter. This was over a 25 year period. I stuck to Winston the longest.

Lighter brands never worked for me... I'd just end up smoking much more than usual, never feeling satisfied, and even breaking off the filters. 8-o

I'm looking forward to Friday (9th), because on that day I will celebrate 3 months of being analogue-free!! (A long time ago, I decided that "3 months" would be significant for some reason. :D)

P.S. I seem to be a lot less fussy when it comes to my brand of e-liquid... sometimes I even mix my tobacco flavours. My first non-tobacco flavoured liquid (coffee) should arrive in 2 days.

I started out 30 years ago on Marlboro Reds. Quit analogs for 3 years after about 5 years of reds. Started back up on Marlboro Lites and continued to smoke them (minus 1 successful year of quit) till 3/6/2010 when I took up vaping. I always said I would quit smoking Marlboros if they went out of business or changed their recipe. Well, they didn't go out of business but they did change the recipe. When they added the carpet glue to make them FSC(fire safe compliant)they changed the recipe enough for me. I noticed a huge taste difference and even more so I think I was having a reaction to the carpet glue. So, I had to stop or else I was going to stop breathing. So, vaping has saved my life. I love my 555 and Marlbone flavors from Awesome Vapor, and Arno and his family have been my wonderful support team.

Loved my Marlboro lites. but I love my PV's more!

Lets see... When I started smoking, it was filterless lucky strikes or camel filters. As cigs got more expensive over the years, I switched to whatever was on sale. I always missed the lucky strikes, but they were getting harder and harder to find anyhow. As it sits now, I can barely stand the smell of cigarettes... any cigarettes.

Thank you, kr808d-1, and the man who sold you to me.
