So I went to the mall today and tried out the e-cigs at the kiosk they have there. I really liked it, but not the price. I assumed I could find it online, but I cannot even find a photo of this particular one. It was maybe twice as thick as your standard cigarette, the tube where the liquid goes(yeah, I'm a newb to this) came in a variety of transparent pastel and neon colors. The battery was black. Oh and it was refillable. Any idea what brand is this and where can I get it?

It could literally be anything but the most popular black cigarette sized would be a 510 model, ego T, ego C or 510 T or something. Usually they wont sell those and it'll be an overpriced m40x, rn4081 or similar model that's pretty much garbage.

If you want an ecig that looks like a cigarette, there is nothing out there as recognised as the Kr808d-1 line. Search for the volt, bloog and halo g6 ecigs. There is nothing that size that performs like they do.

However, if size is not important, you can not go wrong with the riva (I think you guys call it the kgo in the US) and grab some refillable 510 cartomisers for it and you will not be sorry! It has much longer times between charges, way better functionality, robustness and just a better performance all-round.

Oh, and welcome to vaping :D

Do yourself a huge favor and do not buy anything from a mall kiosk. These people will rape you over the cost. This forum is filled with people who paid way too much at the mall, came here and realized that they over paid. If you can give us an idea of what you saw, we can point you in the right direction.

It sounds like what you are describing here is an eGo or riva battery with an eGo vision cartomizer. Even so, don't get caught up on getting that one you saw at the mall. There are many other options. Tell us what you want out of it and where you plan to use it etc. Also, we need to know how your day works to suggest a good model.

Twice as thick as a cigarette? Transparent tank? Sounds like an eGo-T, but I wouldn't expect to find one at a kiosk:

There is a great e cig mall store near me. I live in Lewisville, they are in Vista Ridge Mall. They are not your Kiosk rip-off people. They are a legit store. They sell everything from ProVari, Joyetech, VMOD, etc. The prices are the same as they are online.
Tell them, there is a guy in Scotland who thinks it's totally awesome what they're doing. :D If I could afford it, I'd fly over for a high-five.

Sounds like an eGo or kGo battery with a Vision "Stardust" Clearomizer. You can get them for about $45-50 online. Try Hoosierecigsupply.com or Sweet-Vapes.com and see if that looks like what you saw.

I saw a kiosk in the local mall here about a month ago. The brand was Fifty-One and the guy happily set one up for me and I was able to take a few drags. The price seemed high to me. I don't remember exactly how much it was, but I think somewhere around $75 for a basic starter kit. I mumbled something about wanting to check reviews on the internet and he said if I returned that day he could give me a discount on cartridges.

I did not buy it. For one thing I would still have to buy online or return to his little mall kiosk for refills.

For another I didn't think taking a few drags was enough to decide if it was a good alternative (especially at his price). I just wanted to get back out to my car so I could have a real cigarette.

I don't expect he will last long. The mall in my town is barely hanging on by a thread. The only reason I went was to get a gyro and that restaurant had closed so I walked around. Radio Shack had also closed I think there's only one anchor store left and I found I couldn't even walk around in a circuit anymore as they had just cut off a huge section so I had to retrace my steps to get back out to where I was parked.

It was early and on a weekday, but the only customers I actually saw were a couple of people at a mobile phone kiosk. There were literally more old ladies walking around for exercise than customers.

I expect he'd have to average at least 4-5 starter kits a day just to break even and I really don't see that happening.

Sorry, I guess I am one of the lucky ones to live near the Lewisville mall. I am trying to post a pic of their store. I hope I can post it.

You also have DFW Vapor a couple miles up the road at Valley Ridge. Honestly, it confuses the hell out of me as to why the DFW area has so many brick and mortar shops while Houston has pretty much nothing. Granted, we have some fantastic juice companies based out of this area but no good shops to hang out in.

Well get into your car. Drive up, bring some great tasting juice. I will give you a tour of our local stores, I know James at DFWVape and Brad at Dragonfly. What is funny both are in Lewisville. I am just the lucky one that works in Lewisville. And lives close to Lewisville.

Were lucky here in Washington State if you ever come out this way. We have a super nice cafe opened by Volcano. They even have live music nights. We also have a big place called The Vaporium. They both have facebook pages with pics of their shop. The Vaporium is especially cool since they have a "Tasting Bar" where you can sit down and plop up to 100+ different cartos on your own device and test away for hours. Amazing how the vaping world is evolving.

To the OP. I would get a ego/Kgo like suggested earlier with some low resistance boge cartomizers. Perfect way to start. I have moved on but I kept the Kgo as a backup device, still works great.

They wanted $130 for just the clearomizer and 1 battery. I spend $100 last night on a complete starter kit, clearomizer, and about 45 mL of random juices.
