What cart filler/mod do you use?

I use PTB Straw (PTB made easy) these days. One 1/2 sheet of PTB stuck into a drinking straw and trimmed flush with the top of the cart. No weird flavors, vapes almost dry, consistantly refills 8-10 drops. Very easy to make and refill!

I like the RSP with either blue scrubbie or buff puff, but the buff puff is hard to cut right and all plug methods don't refill easily. I also seem to go through liquid too fast! Scotty's ZFM is a good one, but you have to get it just right - I have leaking issues...

PTB Rolled and folded. 3/4 sheet is perfect. I top off carts at about 6-8 drops. A bit more convenient than direct dripping and still consistent vape.

Face buff pad wrapped in TB w/at least 3 layers of TB at top.
Doesn't gum up as much as all TB and pretty much gets me through a week or more.

Yea, I really like the blue foam slug. Haven't had any leakage for quite sometime now, although I do wash my slugs every 2 or 3 days if I'm just using one or two carts.

Currently ptb-made easy, but also use blue foam plug w/straw at home, when it works, it's great, but not consistant.
Also on occasion, small piece of poly wrapped in ptb as a plug w/straw.

While I haven't tried all the mods, I've been pretty happy with the shredded PTB mod...I didn't realize there were so many options!

Zero filler mod (ZFM) is the best one I've tried and currently using right now. It took a couple of very careful cuts of the straw to make it so the silcon plug is about 1/32" below the edge of the cart with a rather wide-cut "X" but it works perfectly and it uses up every drop of juice. It usually takes between 10 and 15 drops depending on what flavor/mix %.

I always carry at least a 6ml bottle of juice in my pocket and make sure I have something like a toothpick with me to lift out and replace the plug with. Also, if I hold my PV with the LED end down and "flick" the end of it with my finger (like I was flicking an ash off an analog) it ensures that my e-juice is getting to the plug end in my cart.

I have tried the PTB mod with good success, but really do like the ZFM better - no leaks.

Some great mods there. I`m not sure if it would be working for me as well as it has to stop smoking without using the blue foam mod. For sure going to be trying some of the others listed there soon.



Really appreciate the members in figurring this stuff out. One day there will be the e-cig of all e-cigs and nothing more to add.

A variation on the BFplug/slug v2 without that much foam used and in conjuction with the original straw mod (vent). I don't remove the plug to refill.

Eclypse's Blue foam slug and Kristin's ptb version are my favorites. The stainless steel is good also.

Using a variant of the ZFM. No straw. Since I use the arch design, it allows me to simply pull out one side, refill, and push it back in...like a flip top plug...have two running concurrently right now.
