What Carto with Old V4L Batteries?

Hi. Haven't been here for a very long time, but I have a question about old equipment:

I have 6 old automatic batteries (2 shorties & 4 about 110mm length) that I purchased from V4L around April and May 2009. I charged them up and they still work!!! I tested them with a bunch of old cartos (same time period) that I had. I didn't inhale, though, because I have no idea what might have grown in those cartos over the past two years, and they also don't smell too great (even though Ive still got about 7 packs of sealed cartos).

For those members who have been around for a long time, will new V4L or any KR8 cartos work with the old batteries? (I'd read somewhere that because of the slot in the screw-end of the old batteries new-style cartos will not mate properly.)

I'd appreciate any info you could give me...especially if any of you are still using batteries from way back when.

With Doshma's reply have at it... WOW Peppermint, Wowboy, Grape and Peach are all very good, and let's not fortget 555 I prefer WOW but many like the premium and I'm currently vaping the WOW Caramel..can't beat it

Thanks, Dohsma and Iowa Gal, I'll give it a try. Coffee flavors are my go-to's, but may venture to the Peach at some point. No Peppermint or anything menthol-like, though...too overwhelming on the tastebuds. Thanks again.

In my opinion, if you do NOT want overwhelming, you do not want Vanilla Mocha Frap. However, I think Classic Caramel Mocha Frap is yummy.

One of my batteries from a year still works well. Lately I have been using some of my old batteries because I don't want to see them go to waste in storage. They're still working awesomely. Sometimes I have to force a carto on, but no probs to report on this end.

Thanks for the replies, everyone, and the suggestions. Glad to know these old batts will work with new stuff, as I'm somewhat like you, Kimmy -- didn't want them to go to waste, now that I'm vaping again.

As far as flavors, I'm gonna try the mocha and other coffees. Didn't mean "overwhelming" in the sense that I don't like lots of flavor -- just no minty-type flavors, as they tend to hang on and taint everything ever after. Sorry, but I just don't like them.
