I'm brand new to this just recieved my VK Ultimate Ultimatum Manual kit today. I tried out all of my carto's 24mg Hilton's work great, 18mg green apple not as good, 18mg pink lemonade not so good. would like to know if the MG matters for vapor and affect or does anyone have a great flavor cartomizer that they think vapes the best? Any suggestions because after 3 hours i'm hooked and still haven't smoked.

We have adjusted our liquid formulas, and all the new stock, especially the new flavors, are producing more consistently high vapor levels. It's still not quite where I want ti to be, but it is getting there, and fast!

Of the older stock, I found that the Raspberry, Watermelon, Cowboy, and Rum & Coke all produced a lot of vapor, pretty much from the start, and the Grape, while it had a long warm-up period, it would start to make great vapor after a dozen puffs or so.

And I have found that the nicotine level matters; lower nicotine produces more vapor. But I was discussing that with others at V4L, Mariano in particular, and he found just the opposite, IIRC. So that may have more to do with throat kick, and our individual reactions to it. Maybe I unconsciously take shallower drags on higher nic carts.

When I say still not there, I only mean it is still not up to my unrealistically high standards. ;) I will not be totally happy until we beat the vapor from an E9/LTv9, a 5V hybrid, and basically EVERYTHING ELSE. :D

What can I say, I'm tough to please when it comes to vapor. ;)

But the combination of the new formulas and a consistent 1ml fill are already outperforming the previous cartomizers. And most of them have not needed any "breaking in" period.

I will try to find some before and after examples to show on video. I am not sure if I have the right flavors from the older batches with me to match side by side with the new batches, but I will hunt through what I have and try to find a match.

But the real point is, NONE of the new carts they've made and I've tested since I've been here have been wimpy vapor producers, and very few of them have needed any "breaking in" period before they start to produce their maximum vapor.

And, I should add, Steve and Mariano were teasing me just about to death when I was in Chicago, because they could always get a lot more vapor from the same cart and battery than I could. A lot of people have told me the same thing about my videos, too! I'm sure they are still getting more vapor than I am, so I think most people will be very happy with the new carts.

Leaford your doing a great job man. and your high standards will give V4L a better product than it is already.
I have a question cause you said something in your post that maybe i missed before. You mentioned V4L cartos are filled with 1 ml? WOW. i thought it was about 1/2. do i understand correctly? and Thanks for doing what you do. They did the right thing when they sent you to China. man you got that whip out. when they see you coming they say Oh Oh here comes Leafordsan lets hurry hurry hurry lol.

You got it right, cos. They were filling with .8ml, but Leaford showed them how the waters were parted!

Do you know when they made the switch? Reason I ask is that I received my first V4L order with a bunch of different carts. So far I have used 2 RedBull 18mg and found that each has been used up in less than one battery. With the brand I was using before I came to ECF and now tried V4L, I would normally have to use just under two full batteries to drain a cartomizer to "empty"or well actually just before it is dry completely and burns. After I used both I filled them with the RedBull e-liquid I have and was able to add 26 drops, or ~1-1/4ml. The flavor is almost identical to the other brand's e-liquid.

Any ideas?

Hey Leaford, let me know when you "get there"... I've had nothing but disappointing vapor results (2 orders now *sigh*), but I really love VK style and service. Would really like to enjoy vaping your cartos instead of using VK batteries with an adaptor and a 510 atty (great vapor on the "VK510" BTW).

Where did you get the 510 adapter? I have a 510 right now and will be trying this product out and this could be helpful. Thank you.

It only changed within the last couple of weeks, since Leaford got to China.

When I refill, using Taryn's spin trick, I can get 30 drops in each one. I fill 5 cartos with one 5ml bottle of juice and have a few drops left in the bottle.

I think 30 drops is much closer to 1ml than 20. I could be wrong, but that's my experience.

The general rule of thumb is that 20 drops = 1ml but it depends entirely on the dispenser and environment. The cartos won't hold more than 1ml without getting sloppy. Do 5 cartos with 5 ml and some left is about right. I think you'll find that if you put 20 drops in a container from a 20ml bottle it won't end up the same qty of juice as it would have from a 5ml bottle but humidity and a lot of other "stuff" has to be factored in.

yeh rule of thumb is 20 drops to 1 ml yes your right but i can see 30 also cause the size of teh drops is different. unless your using a poppette. is that what ya call them things lol. I usually put in 18 to 26 drops in KR808 carts. actually i have greencig carts i put 24 drops in last week. this week i dropped it down to 18, because 1 of the carts it started to seep out. so the VK carts can hold more than the gc carts. anyway just feel like talking here so dont mind me. im just a happy vaper today. Vaping makes me talk a lot lol
Oh yes Tary s spin trick is the way to go. taryn thanks so much for that help. works every time.
