Hey guys im definitely a newb so bear with me. I just got a Standard kit from V2 about a week ago. I like it so far but if I had done more research I would have bought something differently.. but I already spent $80 so this will do for now.

My only problem with it is the carts it comes with burn out pretty quick. I was planning upgrading to the liquimax carts from v2 which are bigger and .refillable. I guess they are clearomizers.

My v2 takes k808 carts.. my question is, is there a more efficient cart I could buy from a different company/vendor that will fit on my v2?

Im just trying to get the most out of my liquid and my money with the v2 battery so any suggestions on how i could upgrade this thing i would greatly appreciate.

IIRC V2 got tricky with their cartos and clearos and made them so that nothing else can use them. They also have specific adapters to make other brands compatible with their batteries but I left them eons ago and am not really up on what they have done lately. V2 Batteries are semi-808 compatible (if that makes sense). Get what usage you can from your V2 equipment then consider switching to 510/eGo threaded batts and juice delivery devices. The 510 has become the winner in the thread wars and there is MUCH more equipment available for 510 than for 808. It's not unlike when video tape was first put on the market. There were full betamax products and full VHS products. VHS won and betamax owners saw their investments go down the drain.

Thanks for the reply.. I guess ill be buying the v2 liquimax clearos

I have a friend that really liked those...me not so much but it's subjective.

I also started with V2 and a standard cartomizer, even the refillable ones, really aren't going to last that long.

If you're on a budget and want to stick with the 808 form factor I recommend getting a carto tank or two from Vapor4life. They also use the 808 form factor and will work just fine with your V2 cigs.

808D Ecigarette Style - 3.5ml Dual Coil Tank | Vapor4Life

They also have 6ml tanks available. I started out with three and they worked great while I was still using them.

If you like the cartomizer style better because of the size I've found that the Vapor4life blank cartomizers are far superior to the V2 blanks.

Hope that helps.
