I just started rebuilding my vivi nova 2.5 heads with kanthal a1 32ga wire and I have tried different cottons, and the flavor is still muted. I wrapped the wire around to set it between 2.4-2.6 ohms, then I saturate the wick before firing it up, I set it at low voltage 3.4v first, then try it, after several draws, its still muted. Tried increasing voltage, no difference.
Does the spacing of the coils affect this? I have pretty difflicut time making the coils neatly spaced from eachother when wrapping it up. I use a paper clip when i wrap it. I also have the slots on the vivi nova heads filed open to be a bigger. So far I have made like 5 heads. all still are muted. I can't taste my favorite pomergranate flavor anymore...
