Yeah, the full packages come with different sized mandrels and the locking chuck.
I also have the drill press attachment, the router attachment, the planing attachment, the mini-bench-grinder attachment, ... There are literally thousands of options for the Dremel Rotary Tool.
And if it's too small for the job, there is the big maama jaama version of the rotary tool from several different manufacturers. I have one of the big honkin' ones from DeWalt that is great for doing big hideously ugly tasks. You should see it cut electrical boxes into drywall. I don't even get out the Sawzall for that anymore.

You don't even get out the Sawzall anymore! It must be wallowing in shame! This is the difference between you and me Lynn; I fix things with the Milwaukee Sawzall first and ask questions later on after the smoke clears (which would also explain why the things you do most likely survive your "exploratory investigations" and mine generally don't)
@V1John; this is the reason I haven't tried increasing the depth of the cart slot; I don't have the proper blade for my Sawzall!
@Darrigaaz; I remember your post on the staple mod - a great quick easy fix - you should find and rebump if you're inclined?
Don't make me tell the story of how I legitimately am allowed to call myself "Sparky", granted to me by a 74 year old Master Electrician just before he retired... Suffice to say it involved a reciprocating saw. (I like my Hitachi LiIon better than the Milwaukee, sorry! )
Ok, I got a smaller...what do you call it? A collet kit, an I'm able to use the diamonds now. I think what I did is I took the diamond ball and polished the groove a little more.
I covered the wind tunnel with one of the chinese plugs minus the head. In other words, take a plug and cut the head of it off so that it looks like a nail without a head. Then I stuck the plug in the wind tunnel while I worked on the groove. When I finished, I washed the carto and removed the plug from the other end by twisting a paper clip through until it pushed it back out.
The hard or imporssible draw that I resolved here only applies to the centrpost groove flaw.
If you are able to see throught eh wind tunnel, and everything seems perfect, and you can even blow air through the carto, then this applies.
In this situation, everything seems fine and perfect UNTIL the carto is screwed on to the battery. At that point in time, the airflow that is possible goes down to little to none.
