I was so excited I got my Ego today!!!! I got everything out of the box (I watched all Dr.V's videos yesterday), read the directions and wanted to get started. The first time I vaped, I ended up with a bunch of E liquid in my mouth (gross). Tried again, E liquid in the mouth. Switched over to the second unit, same thing. Obviously it's something I am doing. I just used the automizer/prefilled cartridge method. What am I doing wrong???

I didn't have that happen with my pre filled, but It did happen when I filled my own and they were too full. To me, they seemed to need a little extra space in the cartridge, so you didn't go it into your mouth when you start a new one. It should stop getting in your mouth after 4 or 5 good drags. I'v stopped using them and have switched to the ressurector from CCV. Hope this helps!

Yup, like Iffy said... long slow pulls on it. If you draw hard like you would on a real cig, that's when you get the juice in your mouth.

I should also add that you need to be sure and blow out your atomizers very well before using them. They come with a nasty tasting primer in them that must be blown out.

Did the same thing on my first draw on an ecig. I was drawing to hard and over filling the cart.

Make sure you do not let if fill to a bubble on top - squishy on top yes, but not bubbled. Also if you filling it for the first time with the carts that came with it give them a minute to soak it up - they wick slow so do not over draw - you have to give it a few moments to wick down again after a few draws...

Everyones giving good advise about the slow draw, after a month i still have to remind myself sometimes that I need to let the atomizer do its job to get a real good vape. I try to give it a split second to get hot before i start my draw, and i get a lot more flavor and lots more vapor than a hard draw would give.

yes, push the button a few seconds before you draw, and I let go before I am finished drawing. draw softly. also when I started i was pointing the led end up - hold it level or pointed slightly down.

I use a drip tip, so this might not relate, but I also get the problem of liquid in my mouth sometimes, and for me it's almost always because I've pulled too hard (though sometimes it's because I've got too much liquid).

iuse either a driptip or an ego-t with my battery and it is cause you've pulled to hard. a nice soft pull after you hear the atomizer light will give the best vape just saying. In both instances the method i've described WILL give the best vape!

Cartridges suck that way. Drag softly. Don't overfill cartridges - a cartridge should only look damp. When I used to use cartridges, I always set the ecig down with the cart lower (to keep the juice in the cartridge) then vaped with the cart higher (so if juice did come out hopefully it would be vaporized by the atomizer and not end up in my mouth).

I switched to cartomizers (simple stuffing cartomizers like Boge 3 ohm on my 510) and once I learn to fill, cleanup and settle them, no problem with getting more than an occasional tiny fraction of a drop in my mouth.

Rofl, i can't describe how many nights I had sitting here fiddling with my ecig and got juice in my mouth when i started.
Sometimes I got so much liquid in my mouth that I had to stop cause of too much nicotine. Now I only really get a small tiny amount in my mouth when I use my automatic batt with my CE2 style clearomizers. Most of that is just condensation.

Once you perfect your draw and get your style settled in you'll be ok, give it time and hang in there I promise it will work out!
