lots more EVOD clearos, Protank, and Mini Protanks. Another iClear 16--don't like it

4. Stalking GotVapes for the release of the Tesla M5 mech mod. Also going to try dripping.

Bought the Joyetech 510T kit. What a mistake: the cartridges have a very small capacity, they're opaque (so you can't see how much is inside them which means they're very hard to fill without spilling, and you don't know when they're empty except when you get that burnt taste). Even worse, it's almost impossible to fill them w/o spilling e-juice (I spilled a lot). Shame on Joyetech for selling such trash.

Within two days, I got fed up, and bought a couple of Vision VV batteries (1100 and 1300), and got some clearomizers. Now I'm just waiting for my local store to get 2.8ml tanks in. I'm done, I don't plan to spend a whole lot more money ... I'm vaping to stop smoking analog cigarettes, not to impress everyone w/ my "gear" :) And I've quit analogs now, so I couldn't be happier!

I've got some VG on order, and I'm going to see what happens if I mix certain proportions with Johnson Creek e-juice. (I like some of their flavors with PG, but I'd like a higher VG ratio and I can cut my costs by buying 2.4% and mixing in VG.)

E-Joy Ego and 306 dripping atomizers....
First real Mod.......SVD and ProTanks (many, many others after this set up)

Now..... Provari's and Semovar with Kayfun type toppers.

They have all served me well and would recomend any of them to anyone according to what stage of vaping and affordability level they are in. :toast:

My first was a disposable NJoy. Wasn't "great", but I figured there was something "better" and did some research. I thought I wanted something that looked like a cigarette, so I got a Smokeless Image Volt starter kit. They got me off of the smokes, but I wanted something "better".

I skipped the Ego class altogether and got both an AltSmoke BB and Silver Bullet (both mechanical mods). Better experience. Then I had the opportunity to try a variable voltage mod in a vape shop.

Got a Provari. Altogether the best mod I've found yet. I now have two more, because I couldn't imagine being without one of them. I've now got 10 mods in my collection, but a Provari gets 95% of my vaping time.

Why Provari?

I started with SmartCig (which is now out of business), then "upgraded" to an Ego-C kit (which was an upgrade in 2011). Went back to smoking for about a year and half for various reasons, came back, started with an Elego Twist and some Protank II's, purchased and have since sold - Vamo 5, MVP2 (hated that thing), SID, SVD.

I now have a Kamry 101 for dripping new juices (on an IGO-L), Four REO's, and plan to get a Woodvil on this next run, and a Provari mini with 2 Kayfun clones that's pretty much neglected and I probably should sell to buy another REO. Nothing comes close to flavor and performance than the REO's (for ME).

I am also on the wait list now for pdib's new bottom feed mech as well!

I started with a Joye 510 and within a day of receiving it I ordered a Joye Ego with atomizer then on to the Joye Ego T tank. First mod was a VV Lavatube which I still have and it still works 2 years later. Then the Innokin ITaste SVD, One quit and I ordered a second one both of which had firing button issues within the first 6 weeks. Now I have had a ZMax for 3 months now that I just replaced the o ring on the firing pin. It is still working great and I just pulled the trigger on the Innokin Itaste VTR. I use Tanks now and I love the I Clear 30 and the Pro tanks... I had bad luck with Vivi Novas always having a burnt taste

Started with some POS no-name cigarette styled ecig. It sucked, didn't satisfy me, so after a month or so I quit using it.

Then I went straight from that to an iTaste SVD. That lasted about 4 months and then the fire button broke. Out of warranty and the cheapest replacement for it was $55+. Really unhappy about that. My wife's SVD's fire button also broke about 2 months later when it tipped over when she bumped the desk. Fire button was stuck in and would not disengage. Fortunately the safety turned everything off so it wasn't firing, but it was unusable.

When my SVD broke I decided to take what I thought was a step backwards and went for an ego-style system. I wasn't concerned about compatibility with a lot of carts and clearos and tanks, etc... I just wanted a simple, very reliable device that was easy to use, easy to maintain, and cheap to replace any broken parts. After much research I went with the Halo Triton and I couldn't be happier with it.

What a coincidence. At the same time you were writing this I was also writing about having TWO SVDs fail because of the firing button. After mine broke I checked online for complaints. You wouldn't believe how many people have failures of the fire button in the SVD.

I've been considering replacing it with a Vamo V5. It takes the same tanks and batteries as my SVD so I've already got everything I need. Just need to convince the wife that we need more than the Tritons we both have now.
