Well I bought a blu kit, found out that vaping had promise, but the blu didn't. This was mid November of 2012. It lasted a couple weeks.

I had shoulder surgery scheduled for the 6th of December 2012, normally an outpatient surgery or if an overnight stay was required they have an orthopedic hospital for such a stay. But since I had a triple bypass just six months prior they were going to keep me overnight in the main hospital. So I got a 650 MAH joyetech Ego c upgrade to stealth vape while I was there.

Then I got a Vamo shortly after the surgery, a big heavy device for a one armed vapor for sure. A couple months later I got a Sigelei V2 Zmax, much easier for ole one arm to handle.

In the next few months I got a two for one deal on the Sigelei V8, for $30. A Sigelei No 8 mech. A Vision 1300 mah Spinner. A mini Sig Zmax.

Then in July I bought the last piece of hardware I have bought. A ProVari V2 blem during the 5% off sale.:toast:

I use the ProVari and 2 Zmaxes at home, in the car and at work I normally take the Spinner and one of the V8's. Although the #8 and Vamo get used some, they mostly watch. The little ego just hangs out, and the blu is retired.

The only thing I truly regret getting is the Blu.

Started with a Blu disposable. Liked it enough, I bought the full kit. Hated the kit.

Replaced that with a Vea from Johnson Creek. Worked well enough I was able to quit smoking. But wanted something a little more/easy.

Got a few eGos with clearos. Easier. Not much better, but easier.

When I stepped up from there after a few months, I didn't heistate because I knew vaping worked for me. So I pulled the trigger on a Provari and haven't looked back. A year later, I still love it and have no real need to get another mod.

Note: I said "need." ;) Want is a whole different matter. :D A DNA20 mod will eventually find its way into my hands. And sooner or later, I'll get a mech. But for now, I'm content with what I have.

The first thing I had ever tried was this:

A first gen overpriced piece of crap e-cig that tasted bad and performed poorly with non-refillable cartridges. I borrowed it from my dad for a while after he didn't want it but I didn't like it either. I kept on smoking. Many years later, at the start of my vaping carreer I found a first gen (I think) clearomizer kit on an eGo:

Loved it and never looked back, even though it leaked and often gave dry hits. After vaping that for 4 months or so I discovered other models and started the chase for better vapes. I bought my first mod in march 2013, a Vamo v2. Now I'm lugging around a Zmax v5 with a kayfun on top and unless something exceptionally good comes around I won't need to replace this for a long while.

I started with an NJoy Pro in 2010 that my wife bought me. I hated it and quickly discaded it.

A year later I bought the SmartSmoke Alpha kit because they advertised with the Mike O'Meara Show. I quickly discarded that one too.

Another year later I bought the SmartSmoke Omega kit, also because of their advertising with Mike O'Meara. I also disarded that.one, but it did lead me to do more research.

A year later and I've been through a number of configurations: a manual and automaticnVolt X2, a VV 808/eGo clone, an 801 kit, a 306 kit, Modern Vapor Sidesho, Echo. I've also tried a few different delivery systems: cartos, CE4's, tank & atomizer systems, a 705 clone, direct dripping.

I quickly came to 2 realizations: I only like menthol liquids, and I only like automatics.

In a year of vaping, I've never owned a mod. I'm happy right now with an eRoll and a LR atomizer.

I tried a $14.95 CE4/eGo 650 and a 10 ml bottle each of PG and VG based liquid, just to see if it could substitute for tobacco for me. Found it could and that I liked 50/50 juice by mixing.

Within a week, I saw the eVic on sale for $59.95 and got that and a couple of ProTanks for home, and a USB eGo 650 and a couple of Mini ProTanks for on the go. Got some spare 1.8Ω heads as well. I knew the eVic didn't have a good reputation for ruggedness, but I liked the computer hook-up and Mac support. Something was still missing unless I dripped into a disposable atty, but I couldn't do that all day long, especially when driving.

Within another week I had my first REO Grand and Reomizer 2 RBA on order. Dripping upside down, one-handed. The eVic and ProTanks have basically sat unused since, and my wife got the eGo and Mini ProTanks (she never smoked but likes to vape 0 nic). Wound up with a second REO Grand and three more RM2s as backups.

I've since got a nice tube mech, got into bridge-free dripping atomizers, and played with cartos and RBAs in carto tanks. But the only mod that leaves home with me is a REO Grand.

I started with a 7's Hybrid Vision kit. It got me completely off the analogs within a week, but I didn't like not knowing when it's carto needed refilling so I started researching different options and came across Volcano's Inferno. Used a variety of delivery systems with the Inferno then tried Halo's Triton Tank System using their VV battery.
Bought my first Mod right after one year anni. off the analogs. A SMOK Magneto capped with their RSST. Now the flavor and vapor chase has began.

I've been vaping consistently for about one month now. I was smoking a pack of marlboros every conscious 12 hours before my transition. I started out with a generic (eTonic) 1100 mah battery and CE4 clearo. A friend at my job had two of these devices and he gave me one. I didn't really like it at first and began to smoke outside and vape inside. I then upgraded to the Kangertech eVod devices and they were what persuaded me to make the full switch. Today, 01/13/14, I upgraded to a Joyetech eVic and Kangertech Protank 3 after much deliberation. I can't tell you how much time I spent reading on ECF and watching PBursardo videos lol. Anyways, I'm very pleased with my new setup. Settings, Settings, Settings haha. Have a great everyone, and thanks for helping me in my selection!

I started with a little cigalike, but it needed charged too often, so I got a couple 600mah batteries. After about a month, I got a couple Smoktech 1100 Winders. I was happy with those, but saw a LavaTube and liked the way it looked, so I ended up getting it. Then a couple weeks ago, I got a MVP2. As for tanks, I'm using protank 2 (regulars & minis) and just got a couple HyperTanks. :)
