Well... the first thing I spent money on was a blu... I can't say that's what got me started on vaping though. Using a Vision Spinner 1300mAh batter with a mini protank 2 topper... my first mod will be ordered within the next month, a provari will be coming home to me.
Might I ask what you think the provari will do that your spinner will not? They are both VV and while the provari has a greater range. going below 3.3 volts or over 4.8 with a Protank is just not going to be practical.

Started with.... back in the day a company called volcano ecigs, then got my first mod called a copper by atmos usa. Went back to regular cigs cause of not getting enough of the nic.fix plus I was getting headaches. Now 6 months ago I started back-up again with a ego 1100 mah and cutie tank from a local shop here in nyc, went with a vamo v3 for a few months, then went right into mods. Now im vaping on a copper caravela clone w/o markings fitted with an original kraken genny tank, a chi you clone with a ud igo w-3. Both running on .5 & .4 ohms and sony vct4s' oh not to mention my #61 duke box mod from goss mods. I'm happy for now, but have seen some newer mods I'd like lol :p

ego ctwist that i found on the floor.. not really planning on vaping but i guess that divine intervention kept me away from cigarettes for almost 8 months now.. so ego ctwist then my friend gave me his sigelei 19, after a lot of misfires i decided to buy myself a new mech mod which is m28 and trident. then bought a nzonic v3. and so on. but had an emergency so my herd thinned down to a copper mod, nimbus, kayfun.. i will start again going to build a box mod with dna30.

Perhaps he/she doesn't plan to limit themselves to Protank's the rest of their vaping life.

They aren't going to have to replace their Provari when the battery dies, they're going to get a tank of a mod. They're going to get a consistent hit from a fully charged battery down to when the Provari blinks to remind them to change the battery out before it's fully drained.

While I do own a Provari, I'm a REO girl through and through - but comparing the quality of vape of the Ego style batteries to the Provari is funny to me.

Started out four weeks ago with Njoy disposables, barely got the job done.
Moved on to White Cloud Flings the next week, better.
Ordered up a Kanger Evod starter kit. Much much better, still using it. Got a vv Kanger battery and some more clearos.
Today I got in the mail my MVP 2.0 Hunter camo edition. Sweet. So far just playing around with the menu, getting to know the li'l feller.
Probably give it a good workout tomorrow.

I'm a noob at vaping but I bought a SID mod and not sure what brand carto tanks, didn't like the first ones because they came apart too easy and got tanks with the screw on bottom so they are locked together. Have a Kanger Pro tank as well but don't like it as well as the carto tanks. First tried out vaping on the KP tank and the rechargeable battery base type with the adjustable voltage that belongs to a son. Then bought the SID when I went all in and quit smoking. Still trying to learn about all the options out there and it seems there are a ton.
