AWE-SOME! Just make sure you follow the directions with the eye drops and everything should be smooooth sailing. How bad were your eyes before?

Before Lasik, 20:400 in both eyes. And now I'm posting this bare-eyed. Also this week, I finished my combat shotgun build...seems that a bit of light dremel work on the loading and ejection ports means no more cut fingers.

Cleaned 40 lbs. of bugs off the lil woman's truck and changed her oil. Looked up information on a few pistols for someone else one from Chiappa (The Rhino) which sparked a short lived debate about the 'first' revolver to fire from the bottom of the cylinder vs the top. He thought the Rhino was the first and I had to point out the LeMat. He countered with 'all the rounds though?' and I had to drop the Mateba on him like a ton of bricks. Side by side the Rhino looks remarkably like it, just lacking the semi-auto aspect. Yes, the Mateba is a semi-automatic REVOLVER built in the late 90's and if it wasn't for the anime Ghost in the Shell, I'd probably never have heard of it... :D But winning an argument is still winning. Ask Charlie Sheen! LOL

Sorry I'm not posting at my usual rate lately. I started a new job last week and it's been pretty intensive training so far with more of the same but cranked up to 12 is planned for next week. Scarey thing is the state requirements were fulfilled on the second day and the rest is to comply with customer requirements... The good news is I'll be using and sharpening plenty of skills I can use once the dead finally rise... Well, with a little personal tweaking they will! :D

Same thing here . . . little posting due to being very busy. My average daily posts have dropped from like 26 to 19 in the past 2 months due to hardly posting.

I have been doing a lot of downsizing . . . I'm tired of having so much crap in my house, so I'm moving all of my stuff into one room and eliminating anything I don't absolutely need.

I downloaded a GPS zombie app for my new phone. It simulates a zombie invasion and tracks your phone via GPS, so you have to keep moving away from them or you lose.

Not that it will help a lot, it's just a lot of fun . . . I did have to take a detour through town to avoid one standing in the middle of the road.

I finished a months worth of book and practical training, studying, testing and sweating the results of 16 hours of testing (passed with ~94% out of the 496 individual points on the combined tests). Received praise and congratulations from all the senior Officers, was offered on of the permanent positions of Mobile Emergency Responder yesterday. Today, I walked around in circles for 8 hours to make sure a 3 story building didn't disappear... What a way to utilize a month's worth of training! I think I need a beer. Maybe a hug too. :D

When it rains, it pours! Just got another job offer. Well, an interview with the HR manager at least. I think I might be happier back in a factory vs assisting terminations of a non-zombie type at least. :D

Wow, That's pretty cool!
As long as the factory isn't run by Mac!

Sweet! Muzzle loaders are a blast to shoot. Look around and see if you can find a mold for casting your own .600 diameter lead balls and you'll have a blast with it. The actual diameter is .615 for a 20 gauge but you want to leave a little off for safety's sake. Just don't make the mistake of firing both barrels with 'slugs' in there or your shoulder will never forgive you! I did that once with a 12g black powder and my shoulder blades clicked together when it ripped itself out of my left hand... The stump had a massive chunk blown out of it but my brother rolling around on the ground laughing his .... off was the pic of the day! :D
