What did you vape before a Reo?

Chowder is good. He know his Reos, knows what he's doing with atty conversions, is willing to work with attys you already have if they can be converted.

From the Reo menu I think your best choice based on your wish list would be the RM3. (Guys, help me out there if I'm wrong about that. Papa would know...)

I'm lamo - I just stick with my single coil RM2. :p Gets me where I want to go.

Oh yeah, I usually only build regular micro or parallel single coils. I dunno, just prefer single. Forgot to mention that. Is the reomizer 5 AFC? Looks like none are on site, just drilled which I can do but I broke lots of drill bits last time & I'm not that person who knows 1mm is perfect, drill & be happy lol. Not that easy for this chick lol

Minimum backup for one Reo would be nothing at all, but for me it would probably be wicking material, kanthal, a battery and a spring (if I didn't carry a spare Reo that is).

My vape before a Reo was Igo batteries with RDA's, and mini protanks. After getting a Reo, I immediately found out the vape was superior, and the Igo batteries didn't cut it. Also dripping didn't cut it compared to bottom feed. I gave everything away except the RDA's, which got converted to bottom feed. Well I thought I gave everything away, I still have a couple of Igo batteries and a clearo in a drawer waiting for someone to take them to a new home one day, oh and a heap of neglected genesis atties, they were great for learning coil-building skills if nothing else :)

ETA - there was an MVP and Vamo in there somewhere too but its hard to remember...

The only non Reo device I still use is the VTR/PT2 that has my absinthe juice in it. It's a very strong flavor that once in an RM2 will probably set up housekeeping in the ceramic deck and the feeder tube.

I have 3 grands, a mini woodvil, and the vtr in rotation. Back up would be the several springs and the extra RM2 in my vape box.

Did you say absinthe? I knew there was a reason I liked you Mrs C!

The RM3 or RM4 would seem to be your best bet of Rob's stable of atties.

The RM4 has afc, the RM3 does not. Both let you make dual setups (you need to get the dual version of the RM3 for that).

The deciding factors between the two are:
a) how airy do you like your draw? The RM4 is quite airy, the RM3 not so much (although you can ream the air holes to aid in that, if you so wanted). This means that the RM4, wide open, will get you bigger clouds. Some people claim they can dial the RM4 air flow down low enough to approximate the draw of the RM3 or RM2, but you're kind of fighting against the thing's nature.

b) how do you like to draw? If you're a direct lung inhaler, go with the RM4. If you prefer mouth to lung, the RM3 is a better choice (again, with the stock air holes).

c) how important is flavour? Small chamber atties get you flavour in abundance. The RM3 wins in that category (not that the RM4 is weak there).

Sooooooo... we all want good vapor and great flavour. Both these atties get you into that space, but you need to look into your heart - would you take vapor over flavour or flavour over vapor (given an acceptable level of the lesser variable)? If the former, it'd be the RM4; if the latter, the RM3 is your honeypot.

Myself, I'm a flavour guy who mouth-lung inhales - the RM3 (running duals) is my preference. Take this for what it is - one man's opinion.

I started with Egos, which actually worked to get me off of cigarettes, then an MVP2 and SVD with iclear and kanger tanks, then a real Kayfun lite plus v2, then a nemmy by HCigar, and a Stingray clone, then dripping with an IGO-W4 dual coil, then Reos. Everything else is in my box of goodies being unused except my nemmy and igo dripper which I use to taste juices or use up juices I don't want to put in my Reos. Now, I don't have any desire for anything other than a Reo.

Nothing but REO's since September 2010. I started out on Vapor4Life equipment. I began to tire of constant refilling of cartos and short battery life, so I was intrigued when a little bottom-feeder mod called the WetBox came out. I bought one, and while it had many flaws, I was sold on the concept. So when I got wind of the REO Mini in the fall of 2010, I had to have one, and got in on the first batch - everything I liked about the WetBox, and none of the bad, and industrial-strength to boot. I loved it and got a Grand when they first became available. I've added some other REO's over the years, but that first Grand has been my ADV ever since I got it.

After the inevitable irritation of cigalikes, i got a Silver Bullet. It's still going strong and is the best coil tester i ever had!

I suppose i collect mods and i have a lot of different ones, but only Reos can take the abuse of my daily work routine. I have 3 grands, a vv grand and a Woodvil. My all day beater grand has been with me daily for about 20 months now.

I started with an ego twist/vivi nova combo one year ago this month. Tried some T3s tanks and liked those. I moved on to a provari in September, I think it was September, and then a second provari about 6-8 weeks later. I then wanted to explore other juice delivery options and tried carto's. Didn't much like my carto tanks so I ditched those and tried regular ole 510 drippers and loved them but was soon frustrated with the constant dripping. I then discovered eBaron Drippers and thought I had found my vape dream. I vaped the eBaron's with my provari's until last month after receiving my first Reo from the classifieds and now I have my second Reo. My provari's/eBaron's, though I'm still fond of them, are sitting where I left them a couple weeks ago.

I started with all the junk 510 stick PVs then while waiting for my REO this held me over. Back then no website with premade Woodies. Even back then I knew I was a BF guy,

I'm still using my mvp, spinners and aerotanks and don't hate them. I plan to keep them for taking out of the house as the Reo is to be treasured.

I have to go to my aunt's next weekend. I have a mentally challenged cousin whose new goal is to get to try my e cigs. No way am I taking the Reo there, lol!

They are a lot tougher than others and can take abuse

Wow that's a wild bit of gear unsure, love it! Just a few years later the industry has made leaps and bounds. Makes me realize how far advanced the Reo would have been back then. People would not have known what it was capable of, or maybe the atties available weren't as good as they are now?
