What do e-cigs "feel" like?

You're really close here. I would put it in the negative in that I don't even feel the 'satisfaction'. I simply don't feel any withdrawal symtoms. IOW, nothing's changed (for me at least) other than the method is different and that you can choose different flavors. But as far as the addiction goes, nothing has changed.

Now there may be a time when I decide to reduce nic content of the juice and there may be some 'withdrawal' at that time but since I haven't done that yet, I can't report on it.

But, searching the forum, I've found quite a few references to getting headrushes and nicotine hits off the E-cigarette. When people in here tell me there is no feeling at all, it just confuses me, especially since everyone in this thread seems adamant to dissuade me from trying vaping at all.

Good question.

Taking in much more nicotine than you're used to does make you feel pretty bad.
Unfortunately, that doesn't come with a nice buzz.

Try to understand the way drugs work.
And then you'll understand what we're talking about.

Maybe instead of reading this forum you should read a ...... forum.
Or maybe an alcoholics forum.
Or perhaps a ....... forum.

It's all the same.

I understand. Different people will react differently. Lots of variables going on. If one had been smoking say a 1/2 a pack of ultra lights a day and got into vaping and their first ejuice happened to be say 24mg nic - they very well may get a rush/buzz. If someone else smoked 2 packs a day of camel unfiltered and got ejuice at 18mg, they won't get a rush....

For me, I must have hit the right nic level because I don't feel anything different along those lines.

As far as you continuing to smoke, taking up ecigs, I'm really a libertarian when it comes to that. I don't think I know what's best for you. And even if I did, you'd have to find that out for yourself to make it stick. I am not you. Only you can decide those things. But I wish you well whatever you decide and if you have other questions I'd be more that willing to help if I have that knowledge.

Does this mean you feel something or feel nothing when vaping? Have you EVER felt anything from it?

mendon, ma
for me personally i smoked close to 2 packs a day and i know the head rush/dizzy feel you are talking about but once u become a more frequent smoker you dont feel that anymore. the reason i think that people smoke and it is a habit is def because of the nicotine. its addictive period. and its not a headrush addiction its more of a stress reliever and makes you crave a cigarette, at least for me, to get rid of stress or to become more relaxed. i smoked and now vape because for ex. if i go too long with out a cigarette i get very edgy and nervious and i can have bad mood swings and get very stressed out. nicotine helps with making those feelings go away. again this is for me idk if this is the same for everyone else but i hope that helps u understand more about the nicotine addiction as opposed to the want of a head rush/buzzed feeling which 99% of us no longer feel anymore.

So to confirm: Nobody here feels anything when E-smoking except satisfaction from withdrawals?.

I can only answer for myself. My answer is yes, I feel nothing like a buzz at all, just relief from withdrawal symptoms.

If you read a lot of those posts, people did not necessarily describe those experiences as pleasant, and many were immediately followed by a statement that they are going to use a lower lvl nic fluid the next time. Using a PV is not like smoking for me in that respect, even with higher nic liquid. I do remember what it feels like to get a "head rush" from a cigarette when you haven't smoked one in a long time. I admit I used to love that feeling.
This is not the same.
It is not a head rush, and it's not a high.
Trying to get a buzz like a social smoker would off the occasional cigarette just makes you feel crappy, so you voluntarily step down your nic lvl or take a break from vaping if it happens.
The End.

I said:
"...I don't feel anything different ..."

And from what I said earlier - I don't feel a rush/buzz from smoking analogs. And no I haven't EVER felt anything with vaping.

+1 on this. Vaping just became a "substitute" for analogs. Since I didn't get high off of them, it follows that I didn't from vaping. I just continued about my daily activities with no changes except that I don't get winded from climbing stairs, don't have to stop working to take a "smoke break", don't have to stop surfing ECF to go out and have a smoke, etc, etc....................

But if your tolerance to cigarettes wasn't that high, would you get the same buzz a social smoker does off the occasional cigarette through vaping?

You know what, I think caffeine might be right up your alley.

I am not a coffee drinker really, and I don't want to get started sucking down caffeine just to function every day, so I might be wrong about this... but I am guessing the buzz from caffeine will be the same as all other drugs in that it pretty much goes away over time.

But I can assure you that a caffeine addiction will be a lot cheaper than vaping.

Whats your problem? What is so stupid about my questions?
Because you have gotten your answers many times but you ignore them.

If you aren't a troll, and just want a way to get a nicotine buzz, go for it.
You'll be really, really sorry though, for all the reasons that have been supplied.
