Had to put in my $0.02 on this one

I had a really good answer to the question but then I read all of your posts and started thinking about all my ex's and I guess I'm really lucky.. in the 2 months my BF and I have been living together he's only forgotten the toilet seat once. He does his own laundry and finds his own stuff.. even finds mine when I lose things. He even brings my laundry upstairs for me since I usually can't manage it (I might be 20 but sometimes my body feels like I'm OLD) He lets the dogs out at 6am every morning when I'm dragging myself out of bed barely able to stand. He does all kinds of stuff for me it seems asinine for me to complain about the things that irritate me.. but here they go..

He B*tches like a 60year old almost constantly... some one doesn't signal on the freeway its a 20min rant, someone stops too fast in front of him it's a 20min rant, the dog misses the pee pad its a 20min rant (I say that's what he gets for owning a rat the size of my dog's feet) everything big, small, indifferent.. it's a 20 min rant.. You don't even want to know how long he went off about the Walmart incedent!

He sleeps all day while I'm at work (no complaints there since he works nights) but as soon as I get home he's all full of energy and wants to go running all over town when I just want to relax

I'll be wanting attention (cuddles and mushy crap like that.. rare for me.. but yes it happens) and he's busy cuddling and playing with the dogs! (or video games)

HE talks during like EVERY move we watch  nuff said there

Finally.. the liquid portion of his diet is 99% soda pop! That drivs me nuts especially after I lost 40lbs by swearing off soda and I know that if he would do the same for just a few months he'd loose those 15lbs he's always whining about

But like I said.. after comparing him to all the other bf's I've had and seeing the complaints you ladies have.. I feel a little stupid even listing them

You've just described my son and his gf! They live here. Oh the drama!!!!

You know the perfect solution to it all...

Jacuzzi room in the nearest hotel for a night with a box of chocolate and a bottle of wine to escape the whine!!

lol

Ryle, Honey enjoy it now, they do not get better with age! But I do have an idea, all the complaining sounds like diabetes. Has he ever been checked? Or maybe ADD. He sounds so much like my ex son in law! I hated to go out with them, if a waitress was late or brought the wrong thing..oh the harping on and on he did!:(

Bunni..You meant you go to the jacuzzi right? It would be wasted on them!:thumb:

Cori, Mike will say something like "Women, fetch me a pepsi" When I stop dead and glare at him..he's grinnin' and duckin'.
I do have to say he lives in fear of me not having my coffee with milk in the morning..he will get up at 5am to get some if we are out! He spoils me.;)

They annoy me by leaving the toilet seat lid up and also by throwing their dirty clothes/socks everywhere all over the floor, for me to pick up. Also they pile dishes up in the sink all day long. Why can't they open the dishwasher and place them inside? Also most of the shoes laying around the house belong to them and they are everywhere. Another thing, is they don't care what the house or their rooms look like. I can't stand the mess they leave. I need a maid! I am the only woman in a house of 5 men/boys.

Oh I already know they don't get any better  I dumped the last 2 cause they went sour on me :p this one lives in fear of the day I tell him to pack it up and get out. My momma raised me better than to think I need a man to be happy. The first one I dumped.. was with him for 5 years trying to "fix" him.. seems so stupid now that I thought it would actually work (chalk it up to being too young to know better) .. second one only lasted 18months.... I'm a quick study :p

This bf hates to be compared to my ex's.. but he doesn't realize.. comparing him to them.. is probably the only reason I keep him when I'm having a bad day and he gets up under my skin .. I just think of the exs and realize.. I can deal with "my mr cranky pants" (insert baby talk on that one) a lot better than a lier or a cheater (previously mentioned BF's 1 & 2 in that order)

He doesn't have diabetes.. hes actually boarder-line hypoglycemic (which I am on a full blown scale so I understand) but i didn't know that ADD had anything to do with excessive complaining.. that would explain it since he has ADHD on a pretty bad level (3rd worst I've personally ever known) .. sometimes I just want to give him a tripple shot of espresso (in my experience excessive amounts of caffeine knocks out an adhd person pretty quick... learned that babysitting my stepsister) Maybe I should talk to him about that.. I just thought the constant complaining was just part of his personality ..hmmm food for thought.. thanks mary:thumb:

yep! They obsess about everything that irks them! Watch for the I am gonna get even and the inability to forgive or forget..anything!
The hypo thing is just as bad as diabetes, it also plays games with your emotions. My diabetes caused me to have a hair temper. I mean 0 to60 in a second! now that I am more under control, I am a bit slower to anger. In here I will just get off the computer rather then answer in anger, it's harder to walk away in real life.

I obsess about a lot of things too so I never thought any thing of it.. but I've got mild OCD (among other mental disorders lol) so it's sort of to be expected

He forgives quite easilly actually.. better about it than me... my own father is afraid to tick me off enough to warrant (in my mind) revenge.. I once waited 2 years for the prime opertunity to get my payback in on him (and I was only like 10ish when the origional offence occored) My longest "grudge" would probably be the girl that I beat up literally every single time I saw her for 4 years (pre-K to 2nd grade) because she stole my paper towels from me

I wouldn't know about that.. I'm already so mental from other "disorders" that if I'm in a bad mood it's usually chalked up to one of them lol

I've actually got a whole blog on the anger subject on my Myspace.. being Bi-polar/manic depressive (whichver you want to call it.. its really all the same thing) makes my anger issues pretty nuts.. I can be happy as a pig in Sh*t one second then the next thing you know I'm trying to kill someone and half the time no one knows what set me off... his complaining only really bothers me because I don't understand why he has to be so vocal about it.. I'm more the type to either knock your teeth out or seeth quietly about it, b*tching and nagging doesn't accomplish anything.....though not denying I will sometimes go on rants about things that irrritate me but most people find those rather funny instead of irritating.. he's not funny.. every other word out of his mouth is a cuss word and his arguement makes him sound like a 80 year old with a 2nd grade education

ok I'll .... now lol I'm starting to get the feeling that I talk on here a whole lot more than people want to see

Don't have the toilet seat issue here although I've never understood why as he can't manage to close drawers or cabinet doors. Everything else on the list applies and if you add breathe, that about covers all DH does to annoy me.

The gas has been one of the biggest issues in regards to my sense of smell returning. One thing I could live without. Once my DS was swearing up and down to DD that girls absolutely do not pass gas. I told him that was incorrect, but that we just weren't as proud of it as they are.

Momof3, What is it about men and boys and gas? Good grief, I thought I would never live through the 2 grandson's at age 5! To them it's the funniest thing in the world! Men aren't much better..just a little louder!

Queen, it's me that knows all the lines, but hubby still can't remember anything after 5 min.s.

Just tonight I reminded him to get me up early tomorrow (today sorry). He says "Are you going to get Jake tomorrow? (Sat.)(little Grandson is coming up Sunday) I told him "No! We are going to the mall to meet some fellow vapers..remember, we talked about this".
He says.."yeah, the mall" and wanders off. He will forget by the time he gets to his room.

I married his brother then, I swear, my husband can recite movies and song lyrics that date back to 10 years prior to his birth; but ask him if he paid the bills, mowed the lawn, heck...worked that day and he'd be hard pressed to remember.

(and he's very proud of the foul air he can create) gross!

Isn't it crazy? lol My husband isn't so great with the song lyrics...that's me. But those freakin movie lines!!! Grrrrrr!! He can't remember a 3 item grocery list! And the grocery store is ONE MILE from my house!
