You guys are funny!

I usually have magic hands when it comes to mixing but recently I went a little overboard and made a large batch of Black Forest Cake using eight different flavorings. It was way off and too strong, so I added two drops of vape Wizard to 15ml of it and it was toned down by about 80%. Then I ended up adding some more chocolate and now it's decent.

Short story: vape Wizard kills off weird tasting flavors and you don't need much of it to do so. Then you can add some flavoring you know you like to improve it, and maybe sweetener or more VG to thicken it / water to thin it.

I've been trying to make a chocolate cheesecake flavor that tastes like Viking Vapor's. I've been very unsuccessful. I don't know what they use, but it's hands down my favorite juice. Anyway, I had several small bottles of my failed attempts. I poured them all into one bottle and I have something that's not half bad. It's not VV's, but it's definitely vape-able.

Also, to the people talking about using their juice to kill ants.....nicotine is used in pesticides. So yes, it will kill your unwanted bugs! ;)

Man, I have a whole drawer full of mixes that I made and personally didn't like. Most of them should be 24mg, but I didn't label them at the time and they could be different strengths. I am eventually gonna put some stuff in the garage sale thread. You think I should put these in there too? Like a grab bag full of DIY fails? :)

I did a contest with mine. I counted them all and whoever guessed the right amount got them. From what I understand they loved most of them.

Thanks for the tip on Vape Wizard! You may have resuscitated ounces of really crappy tobacco attempts!

Inspired by this thread I just took bottles of various "apples" that were crappy. Most came as samples or bottles with kits. Some I ordered. Some had various amounts of nicotine. I can't tell exactly how much because they were labeled "med" etc. and I don't know where they came from.

So I poured them all into a 120 ml bottle I purchased from PA, doubled the amount with PG and VG, added a few drops of ez-sweets; they send out a free sample. I liked it so much I ordered an half ounce.

I've purchased about... to shame to say how much, of flavors and other ingredients from PA. So... I added caramel, green apple, and apple until I came out with a very nice juice.

I know it needs to sit a few hours so I'm doing my best not to vape anymore of it until tomorrow. There's hope after all. :toast:

And did u say u are sending out samples to the 1st poster to congratulate u on your wonderful mixation??? well congrats  I will PM you w/ my addy..hehehe

I always do my experimental flavors is really small no nic batches. If they suck, I let them sit for a few days and try again.

If they still suck I just start sticking other flavors in there hoping to make them not suck, If I fix them, I pout because in the "it still sucks, lets pour other things in" phase, I don't usually record what I'm sticking in, so if I make something I really like I probably cant replicate it.

If they are still bad after that, I just dump em out.

Ive been trying to make a cherries jubilee flavor and have managed to make several bottles of "cough syrup and cream" flavor instead... I'm starting to fear a good cherry flavoring does not exists.

I had the same issue with a Cherry flavor and added a touch of anise oil (pre-dilluted) and suddenly, I had Cherry Awesome.

As to crap flavors, well, I have one that is so bad (only 1 ml) that I keep it as a reminder of how NOT to do it. My tobacco disaster was fixed when I finally buckled down and threw some REALLY weird stuff at it. I finally achieved what I consider a good tobacco with PA's Absolut Tobacco, sweetner, sweet vanilla, and a strawberry. Its odd but pretty tasty.

If you ever find one, please let me know. I'm getting tired of vaping cherry Nyquil, lol

Would you mind PMing me the recipe for that. I have all the ingredients you have listed but have no clue what to do with the tobacco absolute since it's so thick. Thanks bunches!

I'm not sure if you all have tried FlavourArt's Cherry, and although it's somewhat like a lollipop, I don't get much of the artificial cough syrupy taste from it. However, I haven't had any other cherry flavors except PA's Black Cherry, which was too sharp for me and did have a little of the cough syrup taste.

I give the vast majority of my DIY fails to my dog to dispose of for me.

She will eat just about anything, and has a very strong constitution. Besides, if I one day make up a batch just a little too strong for her, well-- she's an old dog and has had a good life; after all she's spent most of it with me.

But when that day comes, I am going to miss her. But at the very least I will be able to look back, over my shoulder at her freshly stuffed carcass and know that she died in the name of science.

And for the record, I want it to be known, unequivocally and without any doubt... that I am just kidding. I would never give that stuff to my dog... but the neighbors cat is fair game. :p

Linda from PA sent me 3 new cherries she's working on. They were wild cherry, cherry concord, and bing cherry. The wild cherry had a cough syrupy taste, but the other two were promising. Hopefully we can get a good one! I haven't tried FA cherry, but I did order it in the co-op.
