Well, after melting the delrin insulator while torching this bad boy; I went to good old Home Depot and bought some of these beveled rubber washers, drilled the center hole to accommodate the top pin, it fit ever so perfectly in the insert slot of the top cap, and voila! My new and improved Golden Panzer! It actually fires better than before and it's a true floating pin now :)

Pure rubber actually has a higher melting point than Delrin. What Delrin does offer over Rubber is longevity and that it doesnt lose form at high temps below its melting point.

Both if I recall correctly melt at about 180C.

Sweet! And if it loses form I've got 9 more in my toolbox! $2 for 10 lol winning!
