This has recently been on my mind and I would like to know how you handle it when people stare at you like you are using drugs in public?
What do you say to people who see you vaping in public?

I've never had anyone question me while vaping. But I also typically don't vape in places where you can't smoke. I will sneak one in occasionally if I'm indoors somewhere for a long time. I don't know how I would handle it if someone approached me about it. It would probably depend on how they approached me. lol
I get looks sometimes when I am in my own vehicle.............they stare at me with that look of what are you illegally doing there....
I've never really paid attention. I'm usually in my own little world. I have had a few people ask me if those things work, but they weren't strangers. Or smokers for that matter.
So many people vape now that it's not anew thing. If people are staring at you, it's not the vaping. You are doing something different and they would stare at anything different. They are staring because they are also passing judgement and condemning you for doing something different.

Being honest, usually "Hi!" - vaping is big with the Expats here in Mijas and as I've said before - back in Hawick Scotland on the main street every other person is sooking on a box mod - we've even got two vape shops there!
YES! I've wanted to go to New Zealand ever since the Lord of the Rings movies. lol
That's a good point. I often wear weird things. The other day I was vaping outside a grocery store while wearing green lipstick and fairy wings. The looks I got *might* not have been because of the vaping.
Well around here where smoking is not allowed just about everywhere.....and yes there are many vapers....along with many B & M's popping up all the time.....It might have been because of my puck mod in the past.....but mostly when I am out now I use my eGo TC mini.....it's covered with my hand...... so maybe they think I am smoking....but in my own vehicle what's the problem with that?

We Scots, back in the day and particularly in the industrial days, smoked liked chimneys. When I came back home to the Border Country last year, as i have said, when I first walked down Hawick Main Street and saw those folk with their box mods, which I had never came across before, I said to my wife as I lit up my pipe - "You'll never catch me with one of those silly looking things" - that was nearly six months ago...and boy have I had to eat my words!
Vaping is still relatively rare here in Tasmania. I get a lot of looks but very few questions. Probably the most common questions are about where I got it from.
Anytime you would like to go and walk the path of Frodo and the One Ring, I'm game. Dibs on being Gandalf, though.
I lived in NZ for 5 years and it's awe inspiring. I only visited Ireland, but it's a land steeped in magic.
