For rinsing I leave the inner part on battery, pulling away the tube part with drip tip on it. This is the fastest way for me.

Yet another trick I will try. TY again!

Cost-effective is my middle name. I have a lot of dead/useless bits saved up over the past couple years, since you never know what you might need, or be able to use in a new way, especially considering industry innovations and new products coming out.

Tasting is like meditating! Enjoy however you like. All the better if someone else can laugh too, right? Share the joy.

I test my flavors with modded CE2- wicks shortened similar to Stardust cartomizer. Small drops to the both sides of wicks and ready to test. Inbetween flavors I just rinse coil/wick with water, wip dry with paper towel and...next please:) Clean taste, no need to dryburn.

I've tried a modded CE2 (this one involved complete disassembly, foil wrap, etc) and oh my...I'm way too old with less than steady hands to successfully get that one to work. I'm having trouble picturing this....do you have pictures?

Bostonboxers, it is not difficult at all, sorry I don't have pictures, but basically what I do is just the same like many do for cleaning ce2 clearos by taking them apart. You don't have to put any silicone cover back over the ceramics, just use the small black rubber drip tip what comes with clearos on top of the tube.
The reason why I replaced the tubing was that the original tube was made from cracking plastic. The reason why I cutted wicks very short was the ease of rinsing and drying them with paper towel + this way I do not have to do it near sink, I use a glass of warm water.
