What do you wood mod owners use to maintain the finish?

+1 I use Murphy's Oil Soap for all of my leather tack. It should be good for the Woodvils. I think Jack first came up with Howard's Feed & Wax, which is available at Home Depot, and a lot of people use on their wood mods.

Jack also uses Howard's on her spinning wheel, a piece of wood that cannot have any sticky residue left due to all the fibers. I use it and like it. But I have not used it on my two new Woodvils. I've used it on my old Woody, that came to me with very little finish on it; actually close to bare wood but still very purple Purpleheart. It cleans it up and give it a slight shine but it won't put a high gloss on a bare wood like the tung oil finish.

Hey all. Checking in for a few minutes, in stealth.

Do you all use the Howard's on the inside too. I do. I haven't used it yet on the new Woodvils but glad to hear that you put them on the Woodvils going out Rob. I love the smell of it. I haven't used it much yet on my antiques because I have to vacuum, some day, all of the dust off first.
