What does "50%" mean?

I see "50%" used in some discussions here. What does it mean?

The % means "percent". When someone uses the percent sign (Shift 5) the forum software translates it to that.
So, the answer to your question is "Fifty Percent".

This is just something that happened to percentages in the site upgrade... percentages didn't "take" the switch well.....

ñ is the HTML code for ñ

Seems that some posts/browsers were not translating the characters properly.

Roly...I haven't seen it myself on any newer posts...just older ones (around September-ish) ...I think (hope) it is these older posts that are being questioned.

If they are newer posts, perhaps those that have found them could link them here so you can see them and pass them on.....
