I just got an order of 20 or so 3ml sample bottles of different flavors from FreedomSmokeUSA, and am in the process of sampling each one.

I got about 13 different tobacco flavors, which are the ones I am sampling first, and so far they all have pretty much the same flavor, soap.

They all taste soapy, some more sweet soap, some less, but all of them have that weird taste.

I have only tried about half of them so far, but they all are pretty much the same not good taste.

The least soapy tasting one that actually has some kind of defining flavor is their Desert Ship, which has a kinda smokey flavor I guess.

Which brings me to another point/question, I have ordered some Desert Ship from Cignot, and now from FSUSA, and they taste totally different from each other, really no similarity at all, is this normal?

I also ordered some fruity flavors from FSUSA, but have not tried them yet.

I am not trying to slight anyone here, just curious if maybe I just got some little bit older stuff, or if it needs to sit longer.

Mostly I am wondering if anyone else has experienced a soapy like taste, not perfumy, but soapy, and any other info on the subject.

Thanks guys, and BTW FSUSA is a super fast shipper!

Oh and as a side note, as weird as it sounds, now that I have tried a few tobacco flavors from a few vendors, I have found I actually like the juice that came prefilled in my tornado-t starter kit probably the most, followed by the njoy cartomizers pre-filled, are my taste buds just ......ed? Is there something special about these pre-fills that is different?

No, I don't think you are the only one who has a fondness for the pre-filled flavor. I bet it has more to do with the association with that first vape on your first device than actual yummyness however. Did you blow out your atomizer before using it? The primer the manufacturers put in them prior to shipping can taste soapy to some people. Also, if you are trying out one drop of each flavor on the same atty one right after the other, the flavors are going to get a little muddled together so that it's hard to tell the difference between them. You may want to try one of the cleaning methods for your atty or do a dry burn if you have a manual battery to clean out the other flavors before trying the next one.
Old juice doesn't get a soapy flavor by default. I think the flavor in my older juices just gets richer.

I am dripping these on 3 different 510 attys, using ego batterys.

They have all been blown out, and properly "seasoned", I am sure that there has been some amount of blending between them, but it has been minimized as much as possible by going between the three attys, and blowing them out and mopping up with paper towel after each flavor.

I am definitely going to be doing some deeper experimentation over the next few days tho, I just got em in today, and its a lot to sample :)

I think they need to steep. Vaperite made to order juices always taste sweet soapy to me for the first 4-5 days until the flavor comes out. I have a Cappuccino from them that was soapy for 3-4 weeks, but is finally vapable. I think it might be the raw PG flavor you are tasting.

In general, samples don't usually need steeping because they are batched rather than made to order. Maybe FSUSA just made them.

FSUSA's juice is never old. It is probably too new. Some flavors may need to steep. I have never had any that needed steeping but some other people have.

Re Desert Ship - I like that. It's a nice strong Turkish blend and I like to change up the flavor with a bit of other flavors like FSUSA Chocolate, Vanilla Tahity, oRYental 4 (sweet caramelly tobacco - great for sweetening other tobaccos). I mix right in the cart or carto.

Some brands use Desert Ship as a name for their Camel blend (also a Turkish blend). And there are just lots of different ones. These companies mix their own juices with a particular brand of flavorings and their choice of percentage as well as any additives like alcohol or other TH booster, maybe some sweetness in a percentage they choose. Then there is Dekang Chinese 100% PG or VG and that is sold by lots of multi-brand hardware vendors - but even Dekang can vary a bit from batch to batch. You'll find 555's and RY4's vary even more from vendor to vendor - depends what flavoring brand they use and how they use it.

I also like Backwoods Brew Casablanca which is a lighter tasting complex Turkish blend. And I ordered Juicy Vapor's Turkish Delight to try.

Re steeping - you can pop out the dropper tips and set the bottle open somewhere safe (away from kids and pets) for anywhere from a few hours to overnight, then put the dropper tips in and cap them and let them sit a week. then try again.

They are 50/50 vg/pg Kufu, but I have some 100% Vg juices from another supplier that don't taste like these.

Anyhow a little further update, I have tried all 13 tobaccos, and they all pretty much taste identical to me, just varying strengths of the same bad flavor. It really does not resemble tobacco at all, just a really weird kinda hard to describe taste. And they all for the most part smell the same as well, but are different colors.

I have popped the drip tops off of them and will try what was mentioned and see how they evolve :)

I tried some of the non tobacco flavors I got from them now, and wow they are all pretty much great so far.

Apple Wood is delicious, first flavor from my 20+ samples that I filled a tank with for my ego-t, yum!

Apricot Tea is fantastic as well, and is gonna be in a tank shortly.

Other tobaccos I have tried actually resemble some aspect of tobacco to my taste buds, usually the smell of a fresh opened pack, kind of sweet, and kind of caramel-ish on the exhale, but these tobaccos are all just plain strange tasting, nothing sweet tasting about any of them.

Let the steeping begin!
