I have read Vaperites explanation and their hype was one of the reasons was I am asking about it. For instance they say "There are no chemical residues because there are no chemical solvents used to make the organic flavorings that go into the vape juices. I use Certified Organic flavorings and USP Pharmaceutical grade VG to make these vape Juices". This is nonsense, how can anyone think that a tobacco extract doesn't contain chemicals. They say they extract tobacco flavor with PV. PV is a chemical and a solvent. Anything in tobacco that soluble in PV will also be extracted.

When they say an organic extract or flavoring does it meet any standards such as GRAS? Do we have any idea of what is in these flavorings?

PV should read PG. I have to be more carefull what I am writing. I blame it all on vaping.

PV? Do you mean PG?

From the page dormouse linked:

The Juice contains Organic VG based Flavors, Vegetable Glycerin, Tobacco leaf Nicotine & Organic Ethyl Alcohol.

I am hearing that the Organic Juices are best used from 3.7-5v. 6v kills the flavor.

This is a true all VG Juice

There is no sweetener added to the Organic flavorings. NONE.

None of the flavors on this site contain: diacetyl, or Stevia

From the page dormouse linked:

You are right I made a mistake with PV it should be PG.

I was refering to this:
I don't think you will be able to find a more real tasting Tobacco Vape Juice.

PG is used to extract the flavor so there is PG present in this juice. 50/50 Mi

I don't want to get hung up on one supplier. I was just using this as an example for extracts and what is meant by the word. I would think that most of the time extracts are bought from flavoring companies but I don't really know where they come from.

That's a good question. If you're getting that text from the Organic Tobacco juice page I think they are referring to the tobacco itself, that it is certified organic and then they use PG to extract the flavor.

Are there are other juices vendors out there using the term organic?

Searching the web I see there are a lot of organic flavorings available, but I have no idea where Vaperite gets their flavorings. It seems they make their own tobacco flavor from organic tobacco though.

There are a few that say organic. Organic used to mean no synthetic chemicals or fertilizers were used were used in growing plants or animals. I guess that in vaping the term would mean extracts from organically grown plants but I'm not sure if I can make that assumption. I don't think any of the major flavoring companies sell organic flavors. Lorrann does have natural flavors. That bring me back to the question of what is in them and are the at least GRAS. Organic does not mean safe!

Googling organic flavoring e cig will get more hits for juice.
