After looking around alot, it seems like people are afraid to make a definitive recomendation of where to go. I just want to know what company are you loyal to. I am definately moving over to e-cigs, I just want to know where to start.

I currently smoke Marlboro reds, approximately 2 cartons a month. Newports are my secondary choice when marlboros aren't in stock.

What do you recommend in terms of price and reliability. The only thing I can purchase locally is njoy and I am not impressed with their product selection. I want something that does not look like a traditional cigarette and has more of a variety than just regular and menthol.

Thanks!

There are a lot of different opinions...

The equipment that will be high enough quality to allow a switch to vaping is probably something like the following (in no particular order):

1. Joye 510 based systems/Joye cartomizer systems. Models: eGo as a good starter. Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store.

2. KR808-d system. Uses cartomizers. Shop around for the kit, but try the turbo cartomizers from Electronic Cigarette Store at VaporNine:The Smoke Alternative

3. DES901 based system: I don't have a preferred vendor for this. But it is a very flavorful atomizer.

None of that is exotic. You may down the road go for something exotic.. but you have to start somewhere.

Juice is another story. It's all subjective. Buy a bunch of samplers and give it a whirl. Juice vendors I like are the following... no particular order:

1. FreedomSmokeUSA (also carries all the above systems. But I don;t know how they compare on price)

2. Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store. (they carry a wide range of juice, plus 510 based systems)

And there will be a million other opinions on this which will be just as valid. Take what you like, and leave the rest. Try a much of different stuff if you can.

The vendors I listed are there because of service- not price. They are not bad or inflated prices... but I stop shopping price when I find service. Just FYI

When I first started, I did quite a lot of research. There was so much information and so many different opinions that it was fairly confusing to a beginner. I will always remember a post to one of the questions I had been meaning to ask.... I just wish I could remember who said it.

Go here and buy this: Joye 510 NO BOX

Then go here and buy something that you like to eat: Ms Ts Bakery Essentials Inc.

When you're off the analogues for a few months and ready to go to a bigboy e-cig, message me and I'll send you here: (The link was to puresmmoker.com and the Prodigy v2, that is no longer available).

This was the best advice I had ever received in my life... Thank you Unknown Poster!

Personally i would have to recommend the Joye eGo starter kit. Mainly for the battery One they last a long time and Two you can run LR atomizers on them if you decide to try them. It is not recommended to use Low Resistance atomizers on batteries less then 600 mah. It will kill them. It uses 510 atomizers like the reg joye510 kit. 510 are the most common so replacement cartridges and atomizers are easy to find. You can also get cartomizers for it. Cartomizers are a atomizer plus a cartridge built together. It for sure doesnt look like a cigarette. Really it is a versatile kit that you can do alot with. I wish i would have got one from the start. Two things to watch out for when getting a kit one is make sure it is a joye eGo kit also i seen quite a few stores are selling them for a little less or the same as the going price but leaving out one atomizer. Make sure you get one with 2 if you decide to go with one.

FreedomSmokeUSA has the 2 atty full kit for 69. They also offer some of purest Liquid around. Real 99.99 pure nicotine juice made in the USA. None of that Made in China Nicotine. I will throw in the link if you call Dave on the 800 number on the front page of the site i believe he has a code where you can get 6 or 7 bucks off. You can tell him what you been smoking and he will fix you up on the liquid flavors you more then likely will find enjoyable. FreedomSmokeUSA

I like the starter kit at zigcigs.com. Shawn also has some good Youtube videos about his experience with e-cigs and quitting smoking. I have been using a 510 from zigcigs for about 2 months now. Prices are decent and service is outstanding. He is really good about getting orders out fast. I'll be ordering more juice and a couple more atomizers from him real soon.

Funny, I went to the site listed to ridicule it, and to say the price is to high, and they were selling inferior product, but I was wrong, the videos are VERY informative for a beginner, and the kit and juice prices are not crazy.

Probably a good place for a beginner to start, at least for information.

Here is the link so people can see what we are talking about.

For my personal e-cig stuff shopping, I prefer Litecig, they have a TON of stuff, good prices, and free shipping over $15. I actually just ordered some juice from them. I know it is Dekang, but I have never really done any Dekang since it is put doen on this forum a lot, I want to see what the fuss is about, PLUS it is SUPER cheap. I just got some Hello 016 batteries, and am in love with them. I have put the eGo's in the drawer.

Alright, I've ordered the kit that CRW recommended, I also snagged the three pack special from Ms T's bakery. It will be about a week before I go home (the shipping address I listed). I'll post up and let you guys know how it went. All the reviews on CIGNOT were extremely positive, so I'm going to be spending the next week anxiously waiting!

Honestly, I wasn't even aware of this type of kit before I made this post. I've been researching pretty hard (or so I thought), but the only thing I knew of was the prefilled carts. I think the mix n match dripping is a really awesome idea and I'm really glad you guys pointed it out to me.

Thanks again for all of your help and I will let you know how it goes with quitting the analogs. Also, do we have a word for dip or is that an analog too?
