Started vaping about a week ago and bought a Magma on a friend advice. This PV is OK, but there are some issues and I would like advise on what my next PV should be. I realize things I originally thought were important to me are not. Here is a list of what I'm looking for in my next PV:

1. More vapor production and more flavor.
2. Carts/ cartomizers that will hold the most juice.
3. An PV that is not as messy as the Magma.

Items that are not a concern:

1. The size of the PV
2. The PV looking like a analog cig.
3. The type of atomizer.

Also, cost matters a little but is not my primary concern.
Any recommendations would be appreciated!

I've been pretty happy with the KR808's. Decent vapor, good TH and cartomizers hold a good deal of fluid. They are extremely easy to clean and refill as well.

I haven't used a magma so I'm not sure how a KR808 would compare flavor and vapor, but I've noticed that juice makes a huge difference in this regard.

PG juice has more throat hit, while VG juice produces more vapor. You can play with the blend to get what you are looking for.

For obvious reasons other than the above, the supplier of juice makes a huge difference too. Not all juice is created equal.

Hope that helps.

I would recommend a big abttery type such as an ego/tornado/riva/hello 016. They would be compatible with your magma being they are all 510 native as well. With big battery types you can then use lr attys and lr cartos. The cone on the ego/riva/tornado will hold any juices that might leak so it doesn't touch your fingers. If you like using carts definitely look into cart mods such as blue foam, pyramid tea bag and the zero filler mod. It all depends on what works best for you. i personally use the marineland blue foam mod with great success.

If you think it's something you'd be interested in at some point in time, I'd recommend going directly to a mod. I started with a V9, which I returned. Then I got an eGo and just recently I got a Chuck.

After getting my Chuck, I honestly don't see why people say mods are for "advanced vapers." Maybe certain mods (eg: The Buzz) would fall into that category, but my Chuck is just as easy to use as a 510. Pop in a battery, screw in the atty, put a cart or drip tip on and vape away.

The Chuck blows the others away. Huge clouds of vapor. Nice TH, and all of my juices taste way better. As much as I do like my eGo, it's strictly a backup now. I wish I would have just gone straight to the Chuck and spent the money I used for the eGo (about $100 since I bought mega batts, attys, and carts instead of a starter kit) on juice or even a second mod. Best of all, I started vaping on it on Sunday night and I'm still on my first battery charge two days later.

I started on the 510, loved it with the exception of the abysmal battery life. I upgraded to the e-GO about 3 months ago and haven't looked back since. It uses 510 atomizers, cartridges and cartomizers if you are so inclined and the battery life is out of this world.

I don't have much experience with other models, but I can say that I've been extremely happy with my e-Go!

I would recommend starting at 3.7v though. I didn't and have blown about 8 attys in a week.

I'd second that. I'm running 18650 batteries at 3.7 voltd because I needed lots of battery life for my upcoming trip to Burning Man.

Higher voltage vaping does require an understanding about how attys respond and what adjustments to technique and maintenance are needed.

I even blew a HV atty. I'm so fail. :p

my 1st PV was 510, then went with an eGo, which was more of a transition and temp thing because I knew I would be getting a mod eventually. My final PV is my Buzz. It makes perfect vapor out of any liquid I've got. I don't even mess with trying to figure out exactly what voltage I'm at anymore. It comes pre-set to 4.5v. If I'm vaping something more heavy, I turn it down a turn or two, something lighter with less TH, I crank it up a bit. Simple as that. I love this thing, and now that he's come out with the 510 native brass connector? Yup, the perfect mod as far as I'm concerned :)

Thanks everyone for the advice.

BiffRocko I was already considering a Chuck when I posted, but what atty/ cart setup would you recommend I.E. 901, 801, 510 etc. Having a cart/cartomizer that doesn't have to be refilled every 30 minutes like my Magma carts is important. I would like to get at least 2 hours out of a cart/ cartomizer.

Thanks again for the advice.

5 days into vaping 1st 510, ok but stock battery is too short and vapor is not to thick unless I use the usb pass through. At first I wanted it to look like a cigarette to be more inconspicuous, but now it's all about performance, more vape and harder throat hits. Even with that I block at least two of the intake slots to get a thicker vapor. Then got my Rivo Ego yesterday, charged the batteries last night. Vapor is better and batteries seem to last longer but I'm leaning on going at least 5v now. I want a 5 v pass through and a big battery mod like the Buzz or the Precious, both are variable voltage mods.

I'm not the best person to ask about attys. I've only used 510's and V9 and 808 cartos. Now I prefer to drip and can't ever see myself going back to carts or cartos.

If the amount of juice you can get in one fill is your main concern, I imagine the answer you'd get from someone in the know is to go with 808 cartomizers as I believe they hold more juice than the other options.

Edit: btw, 808 cartos are compatible with the 901 connector.
