hello everyone,

ive been smoking very heavily for almost 20 years. 3 weeks ago a man came into my work selling the Frii e-cig kit and i thought "what the hell, ill give it a shot". my pack and a half winston habit was reducing me to ashes , i could feel myself dying.

i could not believe the result, e cigarettes are a life saver. i have almost exclusively converted. i prefer my pv!!!!!

now, the questions.

what class(or model) is the Frii e-cig? is it comparable to a 510?

after a week i could tell my 2 batteries were deteriorating and at 3 weeks they are toasted , are these of low quality?

i am now looking at a kr808-d1 as an upgrade. is this an upgrade compared to the Frii system?

the thread type looks like the deep type ( not sure if that is a useful fact or not ) , are there any compatibility options that i could benefit from?
i have ordered a boge leo for something a little more heavy duty, should be here tomorrow but i still like the idea of a cigarette-like pv to carry around with me.

Frii.|.E-Cigarettes, Electronic-Cigarettes, Smoking Alternative is their website

thanks for looking everyone, i would really appreciate some words of wisdom

Not sure what model you have with the Frii, but I tried a couple different
types befor getting a Joye eGo. It is far superior for taste, vapor, battery
life (all day on one charge, for a 1 1/2 pad ex-analoger)
It's made it so much easier to quit, and it's just a little more a cigar shape,
instead of a slim cig shape, yet still lightweight.

I can only say that the Kr808-d1 is definitely an upgrade. You will probably notice a world of difference. And no doubt will be less expensive to buy and use.

And as stosh says, the ego is also a great choice. Even longer battery life than the kr808. 6-8 hours for the average 1-2 pad ex-smoker.

Welcome to ECF, larry!

Even if you decide to go with a KR808D-1, you'll have upgraded. The batteries on the Frii look like they could be a D9 type, which is the same as GreenSmoke e-cigs. I started with those and after a few days I was unhappy because the battery was only lasting maybe an hour or so. I spent more time recharging than I did vaping, so I was still smoking. Yuk!

Anything those Frii's can do, the KR808 is going to do better and it'll be a whole lot less expensive!

Badlarry, vapor4life is having a sale that ends tonight at 11:59.

Pick out a passthrough (I like manuals) then add anything else you want (Starter kit) so that your total purchase is 66.00. Use coupon code pilgrim9 and you get the passthrough free and they will throw in a car charger. Vaporkings is their brand name for the kr8. I already have the kr8 but I ordered extra batteries and cartos today.

A vapers meet-up. Just a bunch of us in the area getting together to talk about vape-related things and show off some custom made hardware and juices. I think my friend will have some box mods for sale cheap. I was planning on bringing some as well but my supply order hasn't arrived yet and I don't know if I can get those 5 built in time.
