what eff is going on?

i just bought the riva 510 off LF and went and got a bottle nla eliquid today. dropped it into the "cotton" stuff in the mouth piece and put it all together. vapped it and it tasted like pure burnt ..... did i do something wrong? or is it ....ty liquid or did they send me bad atomizers??

Hopefully you've read the link by now and you know you were just vaping a dry atty. Good luck and let us know how it's going, skinny. Welcome!

Be sure to drip a few drops on the atomizer before using them. The liquid doesn't always wick from the cartridge fast enough to saturate it, resulting in a burnt taste.

I did that with my first carto. The vid just showed the guy putting two or three drops in, so that's all I put in at first.

Yuck! Almost lost my cookies. Ha! Then a fellow vaper at work said "Pssst! Dude! You need to FILL it!"

Duh...

After 10 or 12 drops it was MUCH better. (Still think I like the tank better...even if it is more fickle.)

thank you to the god thats not real for you people.. drip some right on the metal coil wire thing then filled up the cotton part and it fixed it

that taste was horrible it was like breathing in burnt ... hair

Oh I know Skinny it is horrible. They should come with a disclaimer about that mess. I was about to never order from a certain vendor again lol..

i was so sad cuz i got the riva with empty carts and i ordered some liquid but its been like 8 days and i still dont have it so today i went to a smoke shop and bought some liquid then got home and filled it and was very unhappy, until i read that link
