Good Day All!
I have been lurking for many weeks on this wonderful forum. I have been smoking about a pack a day of analog cigarettes for the past 26 years, and I just need to quit! So, I bought a Blu disposible e-cig and a Joyetech e-Go-C with a 650 mAh battery and a bottle of "tobacco" flavored juice with 16 units of nicotine. I have a few questions.

1. Do I need to buy anything else? How long should this set-up last me?
2. The lady at the store told me that I would have to "clean" something out after about three weeks? What do I need to "clean" out? How do I "clean" whatever it is out?
3. I was told to add two drops of juice into the unit. Is this correct? If I added more juice, would I see and get more vapor?
4. I've only been trying this for two days, and still feel the urge to smoke a regular cigarette in the morning, and when I get home from work. Any tips or suggestions?

we would need to know what atomizer the EGO came with ifs its an actual ego-c then it has a small tank that holds about 1ml much more then two drops,as far as cleaning goes you probably be doing that at least once a week depending on what your using only atty's i know of that will possibly last three weeks without cleaning would be a carto tank and even then they rarely last over a week.
get back to us on what atty it came with or just take a picture and post it if you dont know:)

Greetings Thirstyinthedesert and welcome to the forums. I'm not sure what delivery system you have on your eGo-C, so I'm not sure what precisely you will need to clean. From the sounds of things though, you probably have an Atomizer if you are adding just a couple of drops and then rocking and rolling with it. If that is the case, two to three drops in it is good. Much more and you might flood the Atty and get juice all over the battery or your hand or something. There are a lot of attachments you might want to consider, depending on what is important to you. If you want to vape on the go, getting a cartomizer and tank would lit you fill the thing and go without having to drip every few minutes. There are a ton of things that you can get that alter the way the eGo vapes and usually it takes time and experimentation to find the sweet spot for yourself. There are also many folks that don't start out going cold turkey on the vape, but over the course of time switch completely to it. Best advice is to not get into a situation where you get discouraged, just keep pushing forward and ask tons of questions and sooner or later you'll find the right combination for you that makes vaping just so much more satisfying than smoking and when you hit that point, the old analog cigarettes just become a "why bother" thing.... Good luck and once again, welcome to the forums! :)

As others have stated, depending on how you are vaping (atty, carto, clearos) determines how and what you clean.

You might need more nicotine. Perhaps the 16 mg isnt enough. I know I needed 24 mgs when I first came off the ciggies. I didnt like the tobacco flavored juices, but if it works for you great. You might find that you dont care for it and need to sample other flavors to fully quit the ciggies.

they all have and "atty" where trying to figure out what one you have on yours there are literally hundreds of different ones out and each kind have different tricks to get the most out of them and have different cleaning procedures,if you can take a picture of it so we can see what you have and be able to tell you what what it is and how to care for it.

clean the top of the battery post with a q tip and alcohol. let it air dry.
clean it every couple 3 days.
watch youtube. search (pbusardo) and (igetcha69) best 2 reviewers.
read alot of reviews before you buy so you don't waste money.
i smoked cigs for 3 weeks when i started then i was finally able to give them up for good.
your nicotine level in the juice has to high enough so you don't crave the cigs.
biggest thing is finding your magic juice.
when you do that, it's all down hill.
top the tank, and toke on...

Yeah you have a good set up. I've heard the egos last 6 monthsish. I would recommend getting a second ego so you have a back up. Higher mah is always good too. Snag a tank for yourself too. They are very convenient. If your getting good flavor and vapor then your set. Finding your favorite juice is the hardest and most important. That's 100% personal preference though. Stick with it.

Howdy!

I was a four pack-a-day smoker for forty-two years. I have not had a cig now for over six months. I quit the cigs the day I started vaping. I can't respond regarding your setup. However, I can say:
1) I started with tobacco flavored juice. It did not satisfy me, because it did not taste like my Marlborro's. So I though about what flavors I like most in my life. One of my favorite flavors is hot cinnamon. You know, like 'red hots'. That was the trick. I used that for the first five months. That flavor was a bit harsh, but I truly believe that is what I needed to get over the hump. Since coffee is very important in my life, that is the flavor I am using now. 2) I doubt 16 mg of nic is enough to get over the hump. I would think you need at least 18. I started at 20 and am now down to 18.

Good luck!
