What ever happened to the ban in new york

I'm still new around here what ever became of the bill to ban ecigs in new york?

Assembly bill passed. Senate bill stalled in Senate Health Committee. Senate Health Committee just held a public hearing on Sept. 23. E-cigs had four defenders speaking at that hearing.
